Maybe someone can answer where we can get "something really nice to eat".

If we want to go for a walk on our portday in Genoa, where shall we go to get something really nice to eat? (Not a meal, just something small, for example gelato.)

I don't think they expect to get them back. I have not thought about leaving it but don't need it as a souvenir so I can just leave it in the cabin.

Thank you. We don't really want the oysters for dinner, more like a snack when drinking a bottle of Champagne which we did on Meraviglia but that was a few years ago.

Does anyone know if they serve oysters somewhere on MSC World Europa? We got some great oysters in the Champagne bar when we cruised on Meraviglia in the Mediterranean.

We will board MSC World Europa in less than four weeks! We plan to eat around 7pm.

I don't remember if you have mentioned it but did you get a printed newspaper and if yes, did you have to ask for it?

We have only been together for 25 years but the day she tries to tell me that I can't have meat, I'm out!

I should choose World Europa because I prefer a newer ship and avoid to go to Turkiye.

I probably use the balcony more in YC than I should in the rest of the ship. Especially after being onshore it's great to just grab a beer in the included minibar and sit on the balcony for a while.

I can absolutely do that to get an idea. When I have done that in the past the cost has been around the double to fly to an island in the Caribbean compared to fly to Miami and that's a little too much, I think. I haven't researched it after the pandemic but guess that the cost is higher now. Normally we fly with British Airways but the cost to fly with them to Barcelona this summer was almost 1000£/each and that is too much.

Thank you. That may absolutely be an option in the future but it depends on airfare and also the possibility to book YC. We book the cruise as early as possible but when we don't know about the airfare we might hesitate to book the cruise before we can book the air and then all YC may be sold out.

Can you give an example of itinerary and ship? I have researched flying to the Caribbean but thought that the airfare was too high compared to flying to Florida, especially in business class.

I agree that they should use a newer ship on the longer itineraries in the Caribbean. For us 7 days from Miami is too short and since we prefer the newer ships we don't plan a Caribbean cruise right now. We will probably cruise in the Mediterranean until MSC use one of their newer ships for longer itineraries in the Caribbean.

I should change plane at JFK. If something goes wrong with your connection there are many planes you can take via LHR to get to Barcelona. My first choice should be to connect at LHR. (SFO-LHR-BCN)

Which countries was that?

I have seen it but it's very rare.

Do you know if new tables are assigned if some at the table add drink packages during the cruise?
