If she turns 18 ON the cruise, she will be allowed. Whatever age you are upon boarding is the age they consider you to be for the cruise.
Except if you turn 21. My son turned 21 on Christmas Day. We were on the Freedom and he was at guest relations at 12:01 a.m. to get that new sea pass. LOL

We were just on the Freedom. They were the second and sixth nights.

Sorry, totally disagree. The CD would never make or break my cruise.

We just got back from the Freedom on Sunday. We are emerald. Since they put the coupons on the seapass I found that they cut out alot of the better coupons.

We are on Freedom of the Seas Sunday for Christmas week. Can't wait!

I have 2 teenagers that we travel with. TSA has always checked all of our passports and then the ticket agent checks them again as we board the plane. I guess Newark airport is much more strict.

Is OBC from a TA considered non-refundable?

Thanks all. My son's friend came over last night, showed me his passport and driver's license and the name on it was exactly how I booked his airfare and cruise ticket. We are going to have his parent's do the notarized letter to air on the side of caution (even though we got conflicting response on the correct age).

We are on the Freedom Christmas week cruise next month. It is my husband, myself, daughter (15), son (20) and son's friend (20). When I booked, I called RCCL and asked if I needed any documentation from son's friend's parents for him to go on the cruise with us. They said, no he is 20 years old. Today I decided to call to make sure since we are getting closer to the sailing date. The RCCL rep that I spoke to today said, yes he is not 21 so you need a notarized letter from his parents. I don't know which is right or wrong, but to be cautious, we will get a letter from his parents authorizing him to go on the cruise with us and if he needs emergency medical treatment. We don't want to be waving goodbye to our son's friend at the port as we board the ship. LOL

Just back from the Freedom cruise. Used Michael from Executive VIP. Very reliable. Would highly recommend.

We are going on the Freedom Christmas cruise. I booked a Budget car going from MCO airport to Cocoa Beach since we're flying in the day before. Got a very good rate using a code from someone here on cruise critic.
Going back from the port to MCO after the cruise, I booked with Michael from Executive VIP. He's not the cheapest, but because he has such high recommendations on this board, I would rather use someone more reliable than cheaper. We will have a private van for the 4 of us. I spoke to him twice and he is very nice and accomodating. When we come back Dec 30th, I'll let everyone know what I thought.

I booked the Royal Swim with Dolphins today and they threw in a 10 minute Manatee encounter for calling in the reservation.

After doing a junior suite for 4 people, we switched to 2 connecting balcony rooms on our Liberty cruise this past November. Worked out great! It's nice to have the extra bathroom and closet space. So that's what we booked on Oasis for the Halloween cruise in 2010, 2 connecting balcony rooms. There's no more waiting for the bathroom.

So glad to hear that. We've had a blast on Freedom 2X, Liberty and Adventure, but am definitely looking forward to our Halloween cruise on Oasis in 2010.
Just off Freedom...........ask away!

Sorry to say, but the shows are the same. We were just on Freedom Christmas week. It was our 4th time on Freedom and unfortunately, they have not changed the shows. We had a great time but that was disappointing.
