  1. We are going on our first Panama Canal cruise out of Miami. I would appreciate any tips that would help us enjoy our experience better. Such as days to be out on the deck or in the observation room and times? Should we plan on getting up early on certain days to get a good viewing spot? If so what days? Any tours etc. that you thought were the best? Any input would be appreciated.
  2. When we were on the prima we never used the main pool. We always went to one of the infinity pools which we loved. That’s probably why the main pool is smaller because they have two other pools you can use.
  3. We used 2 credits for 3 people and couldn’t eat all if it.
  4. Loved The butterscotch budino dessert!
  5. We just ate there two weeks ago. They said you can have one soup or salad, one pasta etc., one entrée and one dessert. My granddaughter ordered it plus the salmon entree.
  6. I love the filet at Le Bistro and will pay the upcharge if I need to. It is that good!
  7. We really enjoyed the thermal suite on the prima. We are definitely booking it on our Viva cruise. Loved that there was not a strong chlorine smell like on other ships.
  8. Looking forward to trying the cavern club again on the Joy!
  9. We really enjoyed our cruise. I thought it would feel really crowded being such a big ship but it did not feel that way at all. We didn’t have any issues getting into any of the shows we wanted it to go to. We made our reservations when we got on the ship and it was really easy and quick. The shows were excellent, the comedians were good and we felt like the entertainment all around the ship was good except for the Beatles which was extremely crowded and loud and the singers were very disappointing. We did not feel like the food in Manhattan was as good as Hudsons on the prima but all of the specialty restaurants were great. Also our breakfast in Taste was very slow on the days we went. During the day we spent a lot of time in the Thermal Spa and on the deck Next to Vibe where there were a lot of comfortable chairs and a hot tub and bar. We loved The observation room and the big circular bar. We will definitely book another cruise on the Bliss in the future.
  10. I just got off the Bliss and will be sailing the Joy in 2 weeks. what are the differences?
  11. We cruised on Carnival in July and we could not eat the filet in the steakhouse. The night before when we were in the main dining room it took an hour to get our food and we were only a table of two. I don’t think carnival would be a good alternative to NCL.
  12. We had 11:15 flight and made it in plenty of time. We carried our bags off the ship and got a cab. In Oct we did exact same thing but took an uber and was surprised it came in 5 min and got us to fll even faster.
  13. On the NCL joy are there seats outside of vibe that anyone can use like on the NCL bliss?
  14. Are there loungers outside of vibe like on bliss for people who don’t have vibe passes
  15. If you upgrade to unlimited Internet do husband and wife both have to pay the upgrade price or just one person in the cabin?
  16. You also want to get on the ship early so you can book your entertainment before some of the shows fill up.
  17. We went on a carnival cruise before we went on the prima in October. The food on Carnival was the worst food we’ve ever had on any cruise. We couldn’t even eat the fillet. I will never do a carnival cruise again. The food on the prima was amazing. We loved every restaurant we went to even the free restaurants !!!
  18. Prima last month!!! Bliss this month!!! Joy next month😀😀😀
