My sister is considering joining us on a Greek Isles cruise in 2024 and I would like input from those of you that have stayed in these cabins.

Can you tell how excited we all are to follow along on this amazing adventure. We love Amsterdam and look forward to hearing of all the things you will do. Safe travels.

Good news, unless you are talking suites, the overhead lockers remain in the cabins after the revolution. In fact, excluding suites, everything remains except for the "soft" furnishings and general colour scheme. No new electrics, no usb points, no power by the beds, no shower cubicles. New mattresses (very comfy).

So happy they kept overhead storage.

Croatia is now on the Euro.

We have always folded our tees and polo type shirts and they fit very nicely. Hadn’t thought about using the folded bins. We love that overhead space. Unfortunately when they revolutionized the cabins they will disappear, big mistake!

It might be too early depending on date of your cruise. Having been there on cruise ship before, there’s a lot you can do without a tour. Most things are very close and within walking distance depending on your mobility. The trolley also stops very close to pier.

Thank you .

I made reservation for most nights in MDR and did not see anywhere to request table size. Should I go to MDR embarkation day to make that request?

We were on Eclipse last September, we just loved her. I was happy she hadn’t been revolutionized yet. We recently sailed on Crown Princess and definitely didn’t like the way the ship was set up. No really good public spaces and a lot of dead ends. You will love the Sky Lounge and Solarium pool area.we find her to be a beautiful ship . Enjoy!

After reading several accounts of crown issues through the years we also now travel with a OVC kit too. Until reading about them on CC I had no idea they existed. Amazing what you learn on this community.
What is OVC?

I can’t decide which hotel to stay at in Barcelona, Hotel Pulitzer or Hotel Jazz?

Which ships require reservations for entertainment. Our June 2024 cruise will be our first with NCL.

Thank you all.

I have already checked in for my May 2 cruise but still says luggage tags pending. When should they be available?

Has anyone used a Taxi to and from Taranto to Alberobello? Would I need to reserve in advance?

Dubrovnik is one of our favorite ports. It is easy to do on your own unless you prefer to take a tour. You can walk the the wall and stroll thru the town, no need for tour. Another favorite activity we like is to go to the Buza Bar on the outside of the wall . It is terraced on a cliff with spectacular views especially at sunset. You can also take a boat to Cavtat and enjoy lunch at one of the oceanfront cafes. Rick Steve’s Dubrovnik guide also has a lot of information . We hope you enjoy!

Thank you all so much.

The Getaway/Breakaway deck plan has an indent that shows which part of the stateroom is wider. The bed is wherever the wider part is for your club balcony category.
HOWEVER, there have been several errors found in certain parts of the deck plan where the indent is in the wrong place and the bed information is incorrect. There are also some errors shown under stateroom details when booking.
One thing that you can be fairly sure of is if the stateroom sleeps 4, the bed is near the balcony and the sofa bed (and pullman) is near the closet.
If it sleeps 3, the bed can be in either location but most "sleeps 3" are bed near closet.
The configurations do tend to alternate but there are also cases of the same configuration "back to back" and the pattern branches out from there. Also, wheelchair accessible staterooms can throw off the pattern because of their unique shape/configuration.
Thank you

Is there a way to tell if bed location is near bath or Club Balcony Suite on Getaway. Couldn’t find any in on cabin compilation.

Thank you for info, will be taking granddaughter on belated High School Grad trip delayed by Covid. She’s 21 now and chose NCL cruise because of itinerary. I had many of those same questions about free at sea. Definitely not the case with them, unlike Princess and Celebrity which they’re all inclusive includes tips, unlimited Wi-Fi and drink package that also includes tips. We will still enjoy and make the best of it. We’ve had this cruise booked 3 times before and yes each time there were itinerary changes as well as port times on each of those before we had to cancel. Hoping for the best as ports are good as well as times.

Krka Waterfalls are spectacular. Viator offers tour from Split but it depends on long you have in port. Does your cruise line offer a tour?.
Celebrity Eclipse - Is 4 in a room too crowded?
