    My last 2 cruises that I had to fly in for were both disasters. A direct flight to Galveston turned into an 11 hour 3 different plane nightmare. The flights back were also changed. My Miami flights were just as bad. So tell them to fly in the night before just in case.

    I would try Princess. We love Princess and it is very similar to Celebrity.

    Hi, I have 3 cruises booked right now. The Carnival Legend (November 13th), the Enchantment of the Seas (January 26th) and the Enchantment on March 23rd. 5 cruises are the most I have ever had booked at 1 time.

    We cruised with a friend that is on a gluten free diet. We were on the Explorer of the Seas. The head waiter made sure every meal was perfect. He had extra thing made just for her diet everyday.

    Both ship are great. Either one will be a great choice. I would go to Mr. Sancho's in Cozumel. '

    Travel agents always give me a better deal, than booking through the cruise line.

    We love the ABC cruises. Princess or Royal Caribbean would work for your age group. Curacao is my favorite stop on ay cruise.

    You can go on your own everywhere but the Dominican. If you see a beach or anything else you would like to explore. Just get a driver at the pier. Tell them where you are going and ask them to pick you up at a determined time. They never fail to come back ( I always tip them really well when they drop us off).

    I will be platinum after I get 1 more point. Will I get a platinum card on my next cruise?

    They are both great. Princess cruisers are a little younger (50's).

    I will reach platinum on the first day of my next Carnival cruise. Will I get my platinum card then or will I have to wait until the next cruise?

    I just wanted to note that Idubs said there is no seating other than the bed. That is not true, every balcony room has a sofa.

    I love Celebrity but I would pick Princess. My reasons are 1 (price) 2 (Princess is almost as nice) 3 ( the itinerary on Princess is by far the best). I never pass up a cruise to the ABC islands.

    Ccl will give you the best price. It also has the comedy club, if that is what you like. The food on ccl is just ok. Rccl is in the middle, it will cost a little more but the food and the the ship will be better. Princess and Celebrity will have better food and better shows than ccl or rccl. I would try another line if i were you.

    I have booker through them twice. Everything worked out great both times.

    I would never fly on the day the ship leaves. Fly in a day early and be safe. I have had delayed and cancelled flights. They have also lost my luggage, but it was delivered to my hotel at 11 am. the next day.

    Yes, 3 of my last 4 flights were delayed or changed. This is in the last 2 months. They have a good chance of missing the ship.

    The price to pick your room is next to nothing. So pay the extra couple bucks and get the room you want. I always book my room near the elevator. We go back and forth to our room often, so this makes it much easier.
