Several years ago I won a facial. The whole time the gal never stopped talking product after product is needed to look “beautiful “. I stopped the procedure and she told me, on my way out, the winning facial did not inclued the gratuities. Tough banana.

@ldog I questioned why we were dropped off so far from the AC check in and apparently that spot, by law, is the only place they are allowed to disembark. .

1979. We we’re exited to go one our first vacation to the Caribbean. The hotel dinner time was formal with dancing. So.. wanting to be in the TIME. We took the new disco dance lessons. Ready to show off our talent. All they played every night was Glen Miller. Love his orchestra but not what we planned for. DH WAS NOT HAPPY.

Just heads up if flying back to Canada. The bus drops you off at the beginning of the terminal, it’s a long long walk to the air Canada checkin desks are at the other end. Be prepared, last year no carts or wheelchairs at drop off. This year there were carts.

@wetterthanwater sorry, would you please explain your reference to coffee mate. We have used it for many years. I don’t know the make in hotels. Possible several.

Also take coffee mate. Cream cools it down

Only for cruising I take my favorite instant coffee ( one I use at Christmas to make Bailies. Yum. Hot water and good to go.

Many years ago spent 2 weeks in Manzanio, spell check, Wonderful vacation to reach the hotel desk we had to take a funicular to the lobby. Then elevator to room that backed on to rock.

@daisy-mae thanks. I knew that but slipped my mind at the time. That bottle of vodka was getting thirsty. lol.

I bought 6 packs of tonic at several bars. Just make sure they don’t give you diet by mistake. It was about $20.00 per pack. they were the small cans. Ridiculous.

Cats have waiters , cooks, pedicure appointments, free laundry, personal on call 24-7.
