Have a difficult question of season HAL cruisers. I want to fly to Portsmouth England to visit a evacuee from WW2. Returning trans Atlantic with HAL. What port would I need to fly to board.
We have always had fixed believing it was only available at 8pm. Recently heard earlier. Asked for early fixed for next cruise. Told not available. So on late again next time. On the K in January could not believe the length of the crowds waiting for anytime almost to the center elevator. Ridiculous
I think I will bring and donate a jig saw puzzle. It was a gift but any time I tried to do it my cat decided to play hockey with the pieces. The score, cat 1000 me 0.
@kazui agree with you about the ferry crossing. We motorhome camped on the island and on the return to the mainland we were accompanied by several horses in open trailers and were allowed to pet them.
Just a few years ago it was in a bar near the dining room on 3. I forget the name. It was a lovely quiet cosy atmosphere. Then it was turned into a theatre type room, rows of seats that destroyed the atmosphere.
@dfish in our camping days with our group we spent many trips to. That wonderful Christmas land. Staying at a close campground. Also loved the close outlet mall.
Two weeks on the island in the late 80’s. Booked with a #+=‘l TA. Hotel called “———- on the Beach”. NO beach. “The rainy season is long over”. Rained for 10 of 14 days. Hotel including pool under renovation. Had to move building mid vacation. The kicker= hotel desk called at 3am to ask for an address to send our bill to Air Canada. ??? All told we loved the island and did all the tours. Have been back on cruises 5 times.
