  1. We have been on the Zenith the most, loved that ship but I agree it didn't handle to rough seas very well. We have also been on the Horizon and the Meridian (back in 96, that ship was tiny, it sank a couple years later, ironically it happened while we were on the Zenith in 99 ) that one was one of the rougher ones, they were making announcements telling passengers not to go outside, even suggesting ladies not wear high heels, LOL
  2. I have been on multiple Bermuda cruises as you can probably see from my Signature below, it is my favorite place to cruise. It has been my experience/luck that it has been rough one way and fairly calm the other way. At times it has been VERY rough and other times slightly rough. I have never had one that was calm both ways but that's just been my experience. Of course, they have been pretty much all during hurricane season.
  3. I have this fan, I use it at work either on the desk in my office or on my med cart (I am a nurse in a nursing home and OMG it can get hot. (the residents are always cold, LOL Another Nurse I work with has this one, they both work good
  4. Thanks for your reply. Sounds like it will likely be reasonable weather so that makes me happy. The info for the excursion says "Once in Capri, stop for a refreshing swim at Marina Piccola off the coast of the island" I guess it would be more "refreshing" than most people would want, LOL
  5. We got them on Princess years ago when we were on our Honeymoon. Of course that was just shy of 20 years ago so maybe they don't do it anymore
  6. We are doing the Symphony of the Seas from Rome on October 5th. We will be in Rome a couple days before we set sail. I would imagine like here in the US we should be prepared for anything but is there an average temp, is it rainy season there? We are doing an excursion in Naples that includes Beach time, is it even going to be anywhere near warm enough to want to go in the water? It's not the main reason I booked that particular tour so if not it's no big deal but was wondering.
  7. My first cruise was in 1989 on the Carnivale then the next year on the Fantasy. After that I didn't cruise on Carnival again until 2000. In 1996 we went on Celebrity on the Meridian. It was a very small pretty old ship by then but it was an awesome cruise to Bermuda and after that I went to Bermuda 2 more times with my parents and 2 times with friends all on Celebrity.
  8. That was my 2nd cruise but in 1990 when it was first built.
  9. For me given the choice between Bermuda and Bahamas no matter what time of year, my choice will always be Bermuda, hands down, absolutely no contest.
  10. Yes that was the same for mine. We are leaving from Rome too. (October 5th)
  11. Thanks for the review, looking forward to more. Lots of anniversaries here, LOL. DH and I are going on this cruise (from Rome) in October for our 20th. Our actual Anniversary is the 4th and the ship leaves on the 5th so it actually mimics our Honeymoon dates too which I thought was cool and one of the main reasons I booked this specific one.
  12. We are doing this cruise October 5th from Rome for our 20th. I only found out after I booked it that it is originally out of Barcelona but for some reason starting in Rome was an option. (Which was really great for me because it leaves and comes back on Thursday so I can fly home after and be back to work on Saturday and not have to find someone to cover my weekend. )
  13. 162 days until we board the Symphony of the seas in Rome (159 till we leave home)
  14. We dd this one on Star Princess in 2018, it was amazing with the land tour at the end.
