  1. Yes, I do 10-16 nite Cruises 3-4 times a Year min and they will do Sheets more then once a Sailing
  2. Royal Cruises use to change Sheets everyday, like most Hotels only once a week unless requested. Supposed to be save the environment but more to do with $$$ and time. My room attendant's do wipe my Cabin down, clean my bathroom and Vacuum every day and change Towels if not hung up. This all I know. Rare ever seen my Balcony Glass Doors done. Though can't say what you or other's will experience. Just leave a Nanny Cam in your Cabin like I do 😁
  3. Actual conversion(math part) does not show on the site. I have 2 Dozen Cruises that Show 1 or 2 points. Long as it shows 1 or 2 points the Conversion was added in your total. That said I was one the few that actually lost 4 points in the Conversion, even with the extra Fudge ones Royal gave. Nothing can be done about those
  4. Agree. Other's may not mind but with me it's, Location Location Location!
  5. Yup, got Lucky. Also like get my Favorite Cabin! Funny thing is opposite happened yr ago on same Ship/Sailing but for Oct2023 instead of Oct2024. Booked it hr of release and by Morning was $700 cheaper. So nice long Call to get repriced in am. Think problem then wasn't giving any C&A SOLO 340+ Discounts online first nite.
  6. Well, just one of the Kids that paid Full Price
  7. Their Company Their Rules. Some Businesses Kid cutoff is 10yrs old, others 12, 14... Was Single Parent raising 3 young Kids, 2, 4 & 7yr olds when I started taking them On Royal Cruises. Paid Full Price for all their Childhood. Kids Fee? No such thing then and actually during Summer Months and Holidays Passenger 3-4 cost more then 1-2. Now I Cruise SOLO on longer Radiance Class that have almost no Family's with at most 10-20 Kids, to me..Heaven!
  8. Use to only drive to Cruise Ports and one Benefits of then Top Tier Diamond was first on/off ship. Me and my young Kids would always be in first 10 off Ship and in my Car before any other Groups were called. Now, travel SOLO, dont schedule Flights until 1-2pm so I'm one last 10 Walking off. Took my Father in Law once in 90's and all Wheel Chair passengers then were first off. All 8 Wheelchairs off at same time, down the ramp and wheeled us straight to my Car, No Customs on shore to deal with then, was done on the ship. Back then in 80-90's Miami I could toss a Coin from Ships Open Deck and hit my Car, this when were able Park that close
  9. Yes, unbelievable. Two of the Cruises I Booked last nite minutes after being released have already gone up in price. One of them jumped $600 more in last 21hrs
  10. Shoot on longer and Repo Cruises I've been on they have to use Overflow VCL and 2 other Lounges. Back 20+ yrs ago might have 10-20 Diamonds(the top Tier then) on most Sailings. I remember on then new Explorer was 8 only of us. Before Voyager in 90's there was no Diamond Lounge, we had Concierge Lounge access then.
  11. Saw low $40s during Covid, but lot those Ships never Sailed...
  12. Had to do that just couple yrs ago. Even with the SOLO 340+ was cheaper have 2 passengers.
  13. I know, Wow! Also several other 10 and 11 nite Caribbeans same, way high some reason
  14. Wasnt too bad, compared to camping in a small Tent this was 5 star accommodations. The Kids Mother, Me with 2, 4, and 7yr olds. With 2 Pullmans and regular beds split was set up as 2 Bunkbeds. 2yr old slept in Moms Bed. 7yr old was Booked in Grand Parents Cabin but she was with us whole Cruise.
  15. Nice! I'd say doing former Legend counts to check it off, good luck! Did Grandeur back in 2002 on a Couple 10niters, my first longer Cruises. Enchantment on couple 7niters were first Cruise took my Kids on back in 97 & 99, The 5 of us in a small OV. Had couple Vision Sailings canceled, then had Booked a Corner/Aft for her TA last Spring but Mother got Sick.
  16. While a stayed with my Grand Daughter they did a long Caribbean Cruise on Anthem. Was first time in New York and first time they ever spent 2+ weeks away just the 2 of them. Said Food and Service was Great and she knows, has been Cruising Royal since she was 7yrs old... Good Luck, hope you get the Ship!
  17. Non drinker here, but my Family and Friends said they dislike the extra pour as wrecks the taste of the drink. Was a Bar/Restaurant MGR in the 80's, guarantee we made all our costs. Shoot when I Managed a few Burger King's had inventory all food in the store every nite. Included saving and counted all food waste right down to every slice of cheese. Anything off by 5, recount the item. 12625 Whopper Patties, 6001 Burger Buns, 1271 Eggs, 756.2 Gallons Shake Mix, ect. This every nite. Like the Bar my count, Liquor Cost and Food cost was always right on. Got my Bonus every time
  18. Yeah, Anthem is one my Daughter and SIL Favorite Ships, I'm actually surprised this many different Cruises were released this week. Royal known for extending them out most years until April, May, June. Here I was ready to sit up long nite/nites and instead got what I wanted by 10pm EST... Though another got to have at a great rate and I'll find the time and money. This time of year is my Christmas!
  19. Did the Boston to Florida Oct Repo most yrs , use to be 13-14nites but kept getting shorter, 13, 12, 11, in resent yrs. Looked at Grandeur when first popped up but as its starting in Aug this Cruise doesn't qualify for the SOLO 340+ discount so to rich for me so Booked another 16n Panama Canal for Oct24 as it's cheaper. Last yr when first released got great price on this Sept Serenade Tampa-Boston, also able get better daily rates on other sailings making it into B4B
  20. True, looking for it & just pointing it out. In old days deposits refundable many Cruises I'd put cash down and hope for price go down or better deal on different sailing found ltr. And then Cruises you just know they will only go up. Now, little more careful when its $450 down nonrefundable each longer Cruise
  21. Agree. Though did find a few of long Caribbean way too high, like $1000-1500 higher then similar sailings. Rest seem to be reasonable as you said
  22. Grandeur doing 15n Boston to Greenland Sept 2024. It's available now
  23. The 16nite Radiance Panama Canal part of a B3B Fall2024, all same corner/Aft cabin... done but still looking though for longer Carib or Repo's
  24. Yup, already got 3 Booked in my Favorite Cabin!!! No late nite for me watching see when rest come out
