Our local TV station just showed the ship and how close she came to that property.
Pretty scary for the owners.
But X denies it. Go figure.

Does any other cruise ship get as close to those decks as this one did?

I'm sure that someone got fired for this one.

Machine or no machine.....
The worst part of the carnival bubbles package is having to sign a damn $.0 slip for every soda.

Let the tour operator of the excursion you plan on using know your ship name and arrival time. They will know the best time to arrange to meet you.

I agree, the tour operator will wait for you to arrive before he leaves as long as you have communicated with them. They can't make any money without you. I have done many independent tours and they always are there waiting for all their people right outside the pier.
Have fun

I like how the guy thought waving his arms at the ship would somehow help prevent it from getting too close to his patio [emoji15]

It's just like pedestrians who put their hands out in a crosswalk to try and stop cars. Useless. Next time he better jump out of the way.

Ben,
I will give you my favorite excursion of all time on your trip. In Cozumel..... Nachi Cocum beach club. http://www.cozumelnachicocom.com/
It is not crowded, the club is not too far from the ship and they have great food and beverages for both you and your daughter. Great beach day away from crowded Cozumel and all of their nonsense.

I've had my reservation transferred over to my TA with zero issues. They now service the reservation for me and I've even added choice air to the reservation as well.

We are oct/nov 17 and we make 2 stops in Israel. We were wondering if it was possible to get off the ship on Saturday in Haifa and not reboarding again until Monday night in Ashdod. Would celebrity have a problem with us not being back on board to set sail Saturday Night? We plan on spending the night with relatives.

The reports that I have read from local sources is that NCL both her and was deciding on what to do with her. Every few years, there is a report that they are going to scrap her, but someone comes trough and donates money to pay for the upkeep. She is a real South Philly Landmark, just south of Pends Landing. You should go to John's Roast Pork and get a sandwich and step outside and eat it while taking in the sights of a magnificent old ship.

I feel the same way about the steel drum Caribbean music being missing on both Celebrity and on Carnival as well. On the last few cruises, the DW and i would grab some drinks and head to our veranda and play some Jimmy Buffett tunes on our little bluetooth speaker. BTW, on our last cruise, some of our neighbors asked us to turn the music up. Even without live music, the cruise dj can play this kind of music, but lately it seems that they don't.

The last time I had the classic package on the Reflection,
I started the day with mexican beer or a Greyhound.
As the day went on, I usually switched over to Grey Goose Kamikaze on the rocks.
Simple and refreshing.

We hate going on Carnival and even when we purchase the unlimited bubbles package, you have to sign for the soda's.
Does Celebrity make you sign for your drinks on the classic drink package?
Thanks

I hate to hijack the thread, but do they have smoked salmon (lox) on the breakfast buffet?
I would much rather have it than lobster.

I personally think that arriving 20-30 minutes late for dinner is unacceptable. Not fair to all concerned. The other guests, the wait staff and the kitchen staff. The buffet or room service are acceptable options. Good job Carnival.

We sailed on the Freedom with AT and then in the Dream with the old menus. We really like the AT and don't miss the table cloths. Also the table numbers on wine bottles is a cool touch. Either way, the wait staff that you get is more important than either way.

I always get lox and bagels for breakfast in the buffet. I just find a matre d and ask them for it. The last time we sailed, I asked for it the 1st day and every time I saw the matre d he asked me if I wanted more salmon. It's just how you go about asking for it.

As far as the B2B liquor, carnival closed the loophole and you can't buy liquor on leg 1 for leg 2. But that being said.......make friends with a non b2b guest let them buy liquor for you before the end of the 1st leg and when they pick it up on the morning of the switch over, pay them cash for the liquor and then you're set.
Assigned Dining

You are on vacation, if you want to be by yourselves, then just request it, or if you want to be with others then let it happen. You can always make a change any time and the dining room manager will change your table.
