  1. There are actually two versions of the Behind the Fun Tour now available for purchase online. One is an "accessible" one for $50 PP (must complete an attestation stating the person has mobility/accessibility restrictions) and the other is the "ultimate" Behind the Fun Tour for &130 PP.
  2. We have in the past, however, with the new price increases (especially for those ships going from $99 to $150) we will more than likely do the auto gratuity only.
  3. We are booked on this cruise as well. Second Leg of a B2B on the Venezia. First time sailing on her and we will be cruising with two other couples on this leg. Looking forward to it!
  4. We are booked for this cruise as well. First leg of a B2B on the Venezia. First time sailing on her. Looking forward to it!
  5. Other sections of the CCL web pages were affected, ever since the "glitch" occurred on the CCL website, involving the drink package. We have five booked cruises between now and Feb 2024. The available excursions for all of these were affected by varying degrees. Same with Spa treatment options. We did check our "booking and order details" to ensure nothing was "lost" regarding previously purchased items/excursions, etc. Everything appears to be intact in that regard. It is unclear when the other "glitches" will be addressed and corrected. Hope this clarifies things a bit for you.
  6. We sailed a nine day New England/Canada Cruise from 13-22 October 2022. Perfect time of year for the changing of the colors. Weather was cool (as expected).
  7. True enough! Will be in a deck 4 Vista Suite next year for a B2b2B to Mexico & Hawaii. 🙂
  8. We did a Vista Suite on the Miracle for a full Panama Canal transit from San Diego to Miami. Best seats in the house. No crowding to get good photos of the transit and surrounding areas Lots of space to hang out in. Well worth the cost.
  9. The classes are located in the Specialty Dining Section.
  10. We sailed on the Miracle for her Panama Canal Full transit Journey's Cruise from San Diego to Miami, from 01 - 13 Feb 2020. Immediately following the cruise, the Miracle entered dry dock for two weeks. No pre dry dock activities took place during the course of this cruise. Everything was peaceful onboard, even though there were maintenance technicians on the cruise with us walking down the areas to be worked on, in an effort to get a sense of what was going to be taking place during the dry dock. There have been other cruises in the past where pre dry dock activities did take place, causing a lot of noise and closed venues. We were fortunate.
  11. Here are the closest package/liquor stores to the Long Beach Cruise Terminal. None are very close and walking to/from could prove problematic for you. Uber/Lyft/Taxi may be your best option. https://www.google.com/maps/search/liquor+store+by+Carnival+Cruise+Terminal+-+Long+Beach/@33.76244,-118.1998104,5878m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!2m1!6e6
  12. This came directly from the Carnival website: Smoking Areas On Carnival Panorama™ Cigarette smoking (including electronic cigarettes and personal vaporizers) are permitted in the following areas: Panorama Casino: There is no smoking in the casino unless seated and playing; it is not allowed at the casino bar or in the entire area when closed. Outdoors: Smoking is permitted in designated areas on Deck 5 (port side and starboard side, forward) and Deck 11 (starboard side, aft and forward). Note: Cigar and tobacco pipes are only permitted at the above outdoor smoking areas. Note: On embarkation and debarkation day, smoking is not allowed outdoors while the ship is refueling. Please consider selecting a later Arrival Appointment to minimize any inconvenience on embarkation day.
  13. There are two Elegant Nights on the Glory seven day sailings (Sunday-Sunday). The will be on Monday and Friday evening. We sailed on her in January 2022 for a B2B2B and those were the scheduled days. Dress code is not strict, however, one will be turned away if not properly attired (in other words, no swimming suits, cut offs, jeans with holes, tank tops and the like).
  14. Carnival Kitchen Classes also showed up today for our November 2023 cruise. Looks like Carnival is making up for lost time. 🙂
  15. Try exploring this website to see if it meets your needs/criteria: https://nationaltuxedorentals.com/rental-tuxedo-jackets/by-occassion/cruises
  16. Do you recall how soon they populated the Specialty Dining section in your booking?
  17. Our understanding from other posts that we have seen on a variety of boards, is that the Carnival Kitchen Classes are not populating a person's booking until closer to their cruise date. It is kind of odd though. When we originally booked a cruise on the Panorama in 2019 for a cruise in 2020 (before COVID cancelled everything), the classes and all of the other venues were available for purchase months in advance of the cruise. I posted a query on one of the Panorama cruise boards to see if anyone has any insight on the matter. Waiting to see what shakes out.
  18. We've stayed in Spa Suites on the Vista and Horizon on a few occasions. We each received a scrubber and some salt scrub, but never had what one would call a "Unique Welcome Ritual." We even asked about it on each occasion and were either given blank looks or told that there was no ritual.
  19. If one were to compare prices, CCL internet packages still continue to be less expensive than other cruise lines, with respect to their internet offerings. Not going to debate which is better, as internet experience varies widely with a ships location (regardless of cruise line), weather and number of folks attempting to access a given internet plan at any one time. Starlink was recently tested out on one of RCCL's ships and the service is supposed to go fleetwide sometime down the road. It is unclear when that will take place, how many choices one will have or how much it would cost per person. It is also unclear what steps CCL is taking to "improve" their fleets internets experience either (other than accessing additional satellites that may be available to them in any given region of the world).
  20. Get something like this (we have two of them) : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077XRXRZR/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=luxurytrave03-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B077XRXRZR&linkId=125e93d5ae0f0093ff8d94997d1b0eea&fbclid=IwAR0-ITFx6GEy-G9cPKcW4MsN_Ta9Nj06cT11VvL6txGu9gcykn46B2Bfgy4
  21. Just include gratuities into the pricing, like Australia and other countries do. Problem solved. If an individual wishes to provide additional, individual gratuities to individuals they deem earned it during the course of their cruise/vacation, then so be it. If an individual is unhappy with the service provided, then notify the appropriate management staff. Let the management deal with it.
  22. All Spirit Class ships and their Aft Wrap Vista Suites are configured the same-stateroom-wise. Deck 7 has one stateroom accommodating three passengers and deck 8 has two staterooms that accommodate three passengers. All of the other decks can only accommodate two passengers per Aft Wrap Vista Suite.
  23. Forgot to mention....go with the Aft Wrap Vista Suite. Hands down.....more balcony space, better views and less $$$ to book it. We have been in the Aft Wrap Vista Suites on the Spirit and Miracle. Were in them for our cruises to Hawaii and Panama Canal full transit. Best views in the house and no crowding the rails for photo ops. Will be doing the same in 2023 and 2024 on the Miracle for Alaska and Hawaii.
  24. Aft Wrap Vista Suites on the Spirit Class ships can only accommodate two or three passengers, depending upon which deck the Aft Wrap Vista Suite is located on. You can find that out by going to the respective ships deck plans map, select the specific stateroom and look at the information there. It will state what the maximum passenger capacity is for that room. Decks 4, 5, 6, only accommodate two passengers per room. There is one stateroom on deck 7 and two staterooms on Deck 8 that accommodate three passengers. Hope this helps.
  25. Aft Wrap Vista Suites on the Spirit Class ships (if this is the type of stateroom you are referring to in your post) can only accommodate two or three passengers, dependent upon stateroom location. You can find out this information on the respective ships deck maps. Select the stateroom and the Information contained therein will let you know what the max capacity is for a given stateroom. If the stateroom is for two, then the couch does not convert to a bed. If the stateroom is for three, then the couch converts to a single bed. I do not know if CCL would allow for a crib type setup, should the "fourth" person be an infant. Hope this helps.
