  1. Pretty sure this is what is now called the Onboard Service Charge. Not new, still $20 or $25 depending on category of cabin.
  2. We were given this by friends on our Pride of America cruise and it was really wonderful. The cake was huge and delicious. YMMV
  3. They do have some nice treats! https://www.ncl.com/onboard-gifts/gourmet-treats
  4. Havens have the Nespresso system.
  5. At Le Bistro I always get the Napoleon de Legumes, since I am vegetarian. It is really delicious!
  6. I loved seeing little glimpses of Coco's, one of my favorite spots!
  7. I like them both, choices are similar, however the bread at Onda puts it over the top for me! Instead of the usual basket of bread, you get three different kinds of bread and three different dipping options! Scarpetta's bread basket with stromboli, plus butter and mascarpone, caponata, lemony olive oil.
  8. I have done this several times when I booked the cruise too late. The times didn't change online but when we boarded the correct times were in a letter in the stateroom.
  9. I love that guy! And you are correct about the all caps!
  10. ColeThornton is correct about Scootaround. One great bonus of using them is that they have a table right at the port, downstairs so you can drive the scooter right onto the ship. And if you are returning to Miami, same deal.
  11. That's the ship where I had the cheese plate!
  12. Last time I checked it was $6 a bottle. That was 2022
  13. Do you eat cheese? Le Bistro offers a gorgeous cheese plate for dessert. I don't eat meat and Cagney's has always been very helpful subbing extra sides. Bon voyage and bon Appetit!
  14. Joy suites are a different animal and their perks have changed over time. From what I understand the suites in the Jewel class still have the usual perks, minus the enclave.
  15. If you are both platinum you get two free bags of laundry.Just write your name, cabin and PLATINUM on the ticket. You can get a lot in those Haven bags. They press laundry tags into the clothing to keep them organized. They come back folded nicely in a wicker basket.
  16. Guests may disembark at any of the stops. Currently in Key West, the stops with loading/unloading privileges are 1,2,3,6,7,8,9 and 10.
  17. The bags in the haven are fabric and easy to stuff with a lot of clothes. As noted, the paper ones can split open. If you roll your items tightly you can fit a lot more in the paper bag and then use duct tape to seal the bag.
  18. They offer a laundry bag special, usually about half way through, although often it is always available.
  19. The sparkling wine does not work for an exchange because the value is so low. We just give ours to the room steward or stick it in the fridge and get something we want.
  20. Some feel the answer, "You are number 6" was meant to be "You are, number 6"
  21. Do those suites get special breakfast and lunch like on other non-Haven ships?
