  1. I totally agree. Funfetti cheesecake was my favorite.
  2. Sadly, I would have to agree with you. We tried at least 2-3 different ones every day and only a couple were really good. All the chocolate ones, (and there were a lot!) tasted exactly the same to me. It was a little disappointing.
  3. Bring Poo Pourri. It eliminates the need for air freshener and it is much smaller to carry on.
  4. It's not just you. It's been hit or miss with us the last couple of cruises. If the line is short we just go to Guest Services and save ourselves the aggravation.
  5. We have a 10-day in May and I can't find them either.
  6. Granted they are 2 different countries, but they share the same small island. It's not a stretch to imagine that some of these inmates may make their way over to the Dominican Republic. It will probably be okay in the immediate port area, but I don't know if I would venture too far from there. Here's a link to the story: https://www.foxnews.com/world/armed-gangs-jailbreak-4000-inmates-haiti-days-long-gun-battle-police
  7. What have you read? I haven't seen much about it at all.
  8. We are purchasing a UTV excursion in a tender port. Since only one person in the party technically purchases the whole vehicle, how does Carnival know who else is on the excursion with you, thereby allowing them to get off on one of the early tenders as well? It is a Carnival excursion, by the way.
  9. Can't wait to sail on the Firenze in September!
  10. I was thinking the same thing. There is also the deli there which they might have enjoyed.
  11. It's a little hard to follow the menus, but do you remember which day the Beef Wellington was served? I want to make sure I don't book specialty dining that night. Thank you!
  12. For what it's worth, the Beef Wellington is technically a filet surrounded by puff pastry. It was excellent on the Magic. You didn't even need a knife to cut it, it was so tender.
  13. I recently came across my receipt from our honeymoon cruise in 1985. We paid $1100 for 2 people in an inside stateroom on the Festivale. Deck 1 no less! I think it is safe to say that cruises are a bargain now compared to back then.
  14. It's roughly double to what I pay at any store around here, but not having to carry it onto the ship is more than worth it for me.
  15. I looked on the website and can only find the 12-packs of spring water. I see nothing about distilled water at all, yet I know people have mentioned that they have it delivered.
  16. Thank you for the very balanced review! I feel like I will have realistic expectations when we sail on teh Venezia in May.
  17. Wow, I hope you were able to finish that huge portion of broccoli they gave you! 🤣
  18. He does! You may be onto something here... 🤣
  19. I'm still chuckling about "Heart attack hill" and your description of the apples in the tart at the steakhouse. 🙂 Although we have sailed enough to be platinum, I NEVER knew that there are drawers under the sofa in the room. I was so happy to learn this from you!
  20. I did not know this was a possibility! I am going to try that this time!
  21. That looks amazing! So much better than the MDR version of Tiramisu.
