    Sign & Sail Account Restrictions for Minor

    Me and my girlfriend are traveling with her son and while he is old enough to wander on his own, we don't want to give unrestricted access to charge back to a credit card. I see where the account can be set to not be allowed to charge, but is it possible to load a fixed amount daily onto the card as a deposit so that he has a daily allowance?

     

    I seem to remember being able to add cash to my sign & sail account, as I had a good bit of cash left over on my last cruise on our last sea day and I'm pretty sure I was able to load it onto my card so I could spend it onboard. Am I remembering correctly this is possible, and does it still work?

    We just put a set amount on our kids card and when he spent it all we would add more if needed this gives you total control.

    I would not expect many changes before 2020 aside from the ongoing Liberty/Valor swap, which could be reversed if Liberty is repaired, and then the Splendor/Miracle swap in 2018.

     

    If Horizon goes to Galveston, I could see a ship move from Galveston to Fort Lauderdale. Given that Florida's east coast is the industry's center stage, I would still expect Horizon to head to Fort Lauderdale.

     

    In 2020, I would expect the new LNG ship to head to Miami. Vista gets moved to Port Canaveral and joins Magic in sailing year-round from there. Liberty takes the New York/Norfolk/Charleston routes from Sunshine, which are expanded to cover the entire year. Sunshine goes year-round in Baltimore, and then Pride moves its summer service to Boston while continuing to winter in Tampa.

     

    In 2022, the second LNG ship gets home ported in Miami. Victory moves to Mobile, and then Fantasy moves to Galveston.

    I wouldn't evpect the Horizon in Galveston either but when it is finished i could see the Vista in Galveston with maybe the valor staying or the libery returning along with one other ship maybe the Sunshine, that would be nice.

    Cabin 2277 Cove Balcony

    So we had 2273 on the breeze nad unlike most people we where not a fan. Not because of any issues with the room itself just that we dont like to have to use the elevators. On deck 2 you are not walking to the lido deck more then onece or twice. We prefer the standard balconies that overlook deck 5 mostly on deck 7 became you have cabins above and below you rather the resturant or other venues.

    We dont get it. The reason is its vacation and if i did't have to worry about the cost of drinks then i would try my best to lets say maximize the benefits of the drink package and that might not be good for anyone. So simply putting it, its a way to keep tabs on my alcohol intake. Dont get me wrong we put them away like nobody business but i dont think even on our most alcohol laden cruise we didn't spend the "break even" amount of money and i would have to even include the bottomless bubbles package for the teen. So in short to us its not really worth it.

    As a Corpsman I earned Doc with the Marines

     

    For those that have served we have all picked on each other

     

    A few things on my mind

     

    Air force..... COUNTRY CLUB They build the golf course before requesting the money to building the tarmac(straight from a F-117 pilot)

    BUt they do have the best chow halls

     

     

    The definition of ARMY Arnt a real Marine yet

    Sorry Army but WTH is with all the new gear while USMC gets hand me downs

    BTW Is this going to be the 15th time Navy beats ARMY in a row

     

     

    Coast Guard....... have to be 6ft tall or above so they can walk back to shore when their row boat sinks

    Or Shallow water sailor or Brown water sailor or sailing on a blue hulled boat a Barnie

     

    Marines look at your paycheck it says Dept of NAVY

    USMC.... They found their few good men and we are called NAVY CORPSMAN

     

    Navy........ definition of a squid is we eat lower Marine Life

     

     

    There are more CMH's awarded to Navy Corpsman and Army Medics for sacrifices we make

    But they didn't do it to get a medal, it was to save their brother in arms, no matter what branch you served

     

    While on liberty, we talked trash, but when poo hit the fan, we were one

    The Army gets all the new gear because the Army does all the real work! That said any Marine is still my brother "for he who has shed his blood with me will foever be my brother". Thats someone else's quote but i dont remember who. U.S Army !

    Just received an email that my cruise which was planned and paid for 6 months ago has been butchered...Valor Dec 11th cruise is being cut short so they can move the boat to Texas ...:mad: Well i'm sure this was not a last minute plan on their part...if we were given proper notice i could have gotten a decent cabin on the RCL...My last cruise on carnival was bad and I tried to give them another chance but that's it....I will not book our

    Family groups on a Carnival cruise again....I will not recommend them to anyone....they will only get bad press from me......meat loaf at dinner that looked and smelled like dog food and fish and chips that were frozen fish sticks was so Bad.....but this unforgivable :mad:

    It was a last min deal. The liberty that is currently in Galveston has some issues so they are swaping them. Your cruise looks to be cut 1 day short while that stinks i would hardly call it butchered either way Have fun where ever you land its vacation after all.
