Hey Everyone! After a full year of planning the time is here and we will be boarding the Enchanted Princess for a Rome-Rome circle of the Mediterranean in our favorite M6 cabin, M107. When I first booked this cruise over a year ago I thought it was a bit of a pipe dream but here we are fully paid and ready to fly to Rome in less than a week. Doubled down on this last May when I took the original 14 day booking to the full 21 day when I saw availability on M107 for the following 7 day. Me and my fiancé might be on the younger side of cruisers (31 and 28) but we’ve been on 6 together on Princess since the restart and this will mark my 26th-28th Princess cruise personally. We will be flying from SNA to Chicago then on to Rome next Tuesday and then spending a couple days in Rome pre cruise before traveling up to Civitavecchia for the night before we board. Post cruise we will be renting a car and driving up to Siena for a couple days. I will do my best on posting all the new venues on the Enchanted (O’Malleys, The Catch, new Sabatini’s, and Salty Dog Cafe) as well as patters and other events happening around the ship as well as much as I can on our pre and post cruise activities. We have excursions as well in almost every port. I will be posting as much as possible so ask away! Hope you all follow along and enjoy our journey!

This has been my experience since the restart. We never wait more than 10 minutes in the elite holding area.

Did you read your Captain Circle welcome letter? It clearly states out water shuttle procedures for elites

Call me a weirdo but I bring my maritime radio scanner onboard. Interesting to hear tender traffic and departure calls as you are leaving port

Yes we have Plus Currently are booked into Catch and are going to do balcony dinner one night. We might sneak another specialty in as well

I believe the reservations can be moved. My CVP has brought reservations under her name that I've booked onboard or through the website.

Viruses have been a part of life since the dawn of time. Weird how 4 years ago no one went into hysteria over coughs and sniffles like people do now. Keep calm and carry on

Crown princess last year when we got to Juneau there was a large line of people waiting on the dock when we got there bags in hand. Assuming they all got flown in at Princess’s expense plus whatever fines needed to be paid

You can mock book all to your hearts content and see if there are any better deals. If there are just pick up the phone and call princess and ask for a refare. If you are already paid in full before final payment date you just get negative balance on your booking that you can ask to be refunded.

When did announce whether they would be tendering in Mykonos versus docking. Noticed sometimes it’s docked versus tendered there.

ATT includes Mexico and Canada in many of their plans now. Even if you don't have it in your package, a small international plan might be worth it for the savings in transportation. We use uber throughout Mexico on cruises now and its far cheaper than the taxi cartel

Check your travel summary. Make sure it says Elite on it and has your right captain circle number. My fiancé somehow has 2 captain circle accounts and sometimes when we book the system gets it mixed up which also shows out to the app.

We booked a reserve Cabana as far forward as possible on deck 9. Crossing fingers we don’t have the high glass like is shown in the renders

Future cruise consultants can buy the credits in the system and see them immediately in my experience. Even before the email comes out.
