So it has been repeatedly reported, yet you felt a need to pile on your "verification" that it is intentional. Again, if you felt this way the logical thing to do would be to address it on the ship with someone who could actually verify or not. Obviously you are just posting to jab at RCI but unwilling to do anything but complain. So far it is just gossip.

The point was that the crew member could not access it themselves. They probably had $5. Not every problem is handled by throwing money at it. We all understand that you don’t hand over unidentifiable pills or Px meds. Hopefully you never get a sudden migraine and the person next to you on an excursion has OTC meds but refuses to give them to you. Some people are able to think and go the extra mile and some aren’t. It’s called compassion.

Did the article associated with those headlines mention refilling water bottles at drink dispensers. Looks like that is your opinion? I have never seen anyone put their hands inside their water bottle and then touch the dispenser with it. Have you or is that pure speculation. Noro is not transmitted through oral secretions.

I bought a pump bottle of hand sanitizer at the start of the pandemic. Still have some left I think. Not sure since I don’t know where it is. 🙂 I work in a hospital so was required to wear a mask for too long a time but never wore one where it was not required. And I avoided places they were required. We even changed churches. Had the first set of shots as required to keep my job (many did not) and haven’t been sick since before 2020. You are right, people destroy their immunity.

So what you are saying is that because they have a lot of money they should be able to create experiences everyone can enjoy—they already do—just not everyone can enjoy every experience. Not physically possible for everyone to participate in every experience or they would have to limit every ship to maybe one experience. They already do have many experiences that everyone can enjoy. Because of individual limitations, not everyone can do everything. I’m sure there are height and age limits on the slides as well.

Not everyone gets to experience everything. It is obviously not just weight that is an issue, but distribution and shape. Likewise someone 4’ tall probably cannot experience the climbing wall or high ropes etc. There needs to be limits to cover peoples lack of common sense and law suits

Did you read what you quoted of mine previously? Reservations open later but the MTD opens when the dining room opens. You go without a reservation and MAY or may not have to wait a little bit for a table. I’m sure the Oasis is a little more crowded and when peope are unaware of the actual dining times, they create unnecessary chaos.

Got home and checked all my paperwork, cruise reservation, boarding pass, website. Under dining it says dining hours 5:45-11. Choose MTD for the freedom to come anytime the dining room is open. Now I’m leaving too. 🙂

I guess some people just need to worry to be happy. I don’t watch what others do and don’t worry about it. Never gotten sick on a cruise either. I worked in medical research and germs are not nearly as mobile as some would have you believe. Do what works for you and I’ll do what works for me.

There is no way a water bottle is going to touch the inside of the dispenser (where the water flows) so if you don’t touch it with your clean cup, you’re good to go, if really worried about this, rinse the dispenser by letting a spoonful or so run out before you fill your glass.

Exactly. Just because regulations MAY say it is Ok to serve for two hours does not mean that is standard practice. Rather it would be the rare exception. As stated above, they know within a few plates how much of each thing they need every half hours. If you are correct, two hours worth of food is ready by 5:45, or as you say maybe even earlier, and all those people arriving for MTD at 7:00 will mostly get food sitting around for 1.5 hours by 7:15 when their order comes. You can get a rare steak at 7:15 or any other time. If I had MTD and arrived at the assigned dining room, along with many other MTD patrons, anytime after I WAS TOLD I COULD ARRIVE, MTD was absolutely open. They are not like some cruise lines which have totally separate dining rooms for each. And yes, the app says early dining (reservation) opens at a certain time and MTD (reservations) open at a certain time. Yes, they could write it clearer and I understand people getting miffed if they wait for their reservation time and then find out they could have gone earlier. You just have to ask questions and accept the answer you get. Enjoy your cruise

Again, we just got off the Freedom and RESERVATIONS for MTD open at 7:00 but MTD opens at 5:45 the same as MDR. You just walk up to the desk and request a table. Wise to wait until 6:00 that first night when everyone is needing assistance with table assignments to avoid a wait or confusion. And they record where you sit so the next night they will ask if you want the same table.

At least 95% of water bottles have removable tops which need to be removed to refill. No need to even get the top close to the dispenser. Germs don’t jump from the bottle to the dispenser.

We were on the Freedom and the last night (7/20) all balcony cabins on starboard side were instructed to either leave their balcony light off or turn it on overnight. There were to be drones revealing a special message in the lights. Did anyone see anything on social media about that. Would like to know who the celebrity was in Miami they were messaging and what it looked like.

OK. Too many misassumptions here to quote. Just returned from the Freedom and had MTD. Early dining started at 5:45. We would usually go to the MTD desk about 6:00 and have a table within 5 minutes. After the first night, no waiting. Had the same table every night even going at 6:30. It was an unused table in the early dining area. There were several empty tables so all were available for anyone with MTD. Food was served at the same time as early set dining, by the same waiters and was the same quality. Waiters actually had more time for us as their other diners were eating.

OK, I’ll take the opposite view to most of you. She knew about the cruise before expanding her business. It may have been the logical thing to do to her but that’s on her. It’s up to her to be more flexible and work with you to find a solution. If her business is that important to her, she should not be upset if she won’t accept any of the many perfectly logical solutions. It then is not unfeeling of him to go alone if he is comfortable with that. And I would say the same if it were the husband who did not want to leave his work or business. We see that all the time where the wife goes alone because he needs to work.

I know I have recently seen a list of these but of course can't find it when I want it. Tried all the titles with drink in the title. Does anyone know where I can find it? Also, if you have the drink package and it covers up to $14, will that include any premium liquors in the cocktail? Thanks

Have your grocery prices or clothing prices or electricity prices gone up in the last 3 years? Does your hotel room cost more? Do you get less for more cost? Why should the cruise industry be any different.
