  1. Last visit to Sunshine’s, a Killer Bee was $5.00 and a beer $3.00, there was no additional Tax or Service Fee. For more Bee, request “no ice”, because ice is first into the glass, then filled with Bee.

  5. It is what it is…. Not annoying at all.. If one, for whatever reasons, is seeking to pay for tours by OBC, then suggest one purchases required tours in advance by CC. Then discuss one’s requirements with the Tours Desk when onboard, as how to cancel one’s CC booked tours, without loss of “spots”, obtain a refund and repurchase with OBC while at the Tours Desk. The Desk will genuinely look to assist, if possible.
  6. Yes. Plywood is rustic, ethnic and shabby chic, but the people are genuine and will respect one and appreciate one’s business. No Babylon as of Grand Anse Take in the views. Stunning. Know you’re with little ones, but one must try (once) the gin shot with a beer chaser. Either from a glass or direct from the gun. Don’t forget the disposable Ponchos. If liquid sunshine appears, then Plywood is a nice place to shelter Food is good and generous. Taxis available back to ship, but if not immediate, then Plywood would call a known, local and reliable one for the drive back to port. Enjoy….

Think the replies may be zero - One will then try to assist with a guesstimate or two… Taxi (whole) to distillery - work on $15 including tip - - Plenty of taxis - Prices controlled by Government and published at taxi kiosk inside terminal - Taxi captain will allocate one’s ride - Distillery - Entrance fee - possibly $5/6 pp Rum Sampling Fee - possibly $5 pp Taxi from Distillery to Grand Anse (if one must) - work on $15 including tip - Many Taxis Taxi back to ship (walk though any beach hotel to the road behind to flag taxi, but they are enthusiastic for a fare and will actually flag one for a ride “back to ship”) - work on $15 for the whole cab including tip - Or Water taxi (different and fun) from Grand Anse to Cruise Terminal @ $5 pp - One can’t miss the water taxi jetty on Grand Anse.

  12. Great choice… quiet with a few steps away from the lifts (there is no footfall noise by lift users) - Benefit of straight down to MDR… Or up to Lido/Lido Alternative and Sun Deck - on deck 9 and 10 - View is vertical and unblocked to the sea….
  13. Best Snorkelling is to take the short Ferry ride to the protected Marine park on Pinel Island. No Seaweed. Gentle wave Snorkelling along the Marine Park Reefs, but stronger swimmers will enjoy the bigger waves to the North around the West headland, with more rocks and fish. Plenty of taxis from to Port to Ferry and from Ferry to Port. And one’s outward driver will be pleased for a timed booking for on’s return.   16. Plenty of shared minivan taxis for the outward and return, also private taxis. If taking a private taxi, one’s outward driver will be happy to be booked for one’s timed return. Note to self…. To be super time safe, allow an extra 15 minutes for the return, because of possible heavy port traffic.

  19. Heard about touts selling “holds for photographs/videos with addicted monkeys” in exchange for dollars over a decade ago, with Reggie Beach indicated as being the lead. Think this appalling (so called) entertainment was shut down. But if one feels the need, then contact Reggie for an update.

  23. Take a slight risk with a visit to Turners Beach. There usually is the only gentle slope entrance to the sea, to the far left of the beach, by rocks, when facing the sea. It’s a narrow strip, but visible from the beach. Shared shuttles from the port are available.
  24. As the drop off is a recurring problem for Antigua’s beaches, because the action of tides is impossible to predict. Here today, gone tomorrow. Therefore, do consider a Rock Pool day at Sheer Rocks. This will give one peace of mind, also the opportunity to spend a wonderful day, with excellent food/drinks and service.
