  1. IF the prices go down or IF a better cabin opens up?? In most situations you can do this with a travel agent. The travel agent usually gives us 10-20% of what we paid, in perks. If neither the price goes down, or a better cabin doesn't come available, you have nothing. I can fall back on my perks. I have never, in 31 cruises, missed out on price reductions or the opportunity to move to a better location. Also, if the travel agent has "group space" reserved, you can get the cruise hundreds of dollars less than booking through the cruise line. We saved $700 p.p. because our travel agent had the group space on our B2B on Celebrity Equinox this October. I do all my homework up front, so I don't need to make any changes besides the price reductions and cabin changes.

You can also Book direct with RCL and then transfer the reservation to your TA and get the perks.

  2. We go Outside and Inside like both

If some years we can go on more cruises because of cost

we will do the inside. and always enjoy those just as much. When we

go inside we pick a location that has easy outside access. The inside dark rooms do not bother us at all. our next 4 cruises 3 are with balcony 1 is inside

last year all 3 were inside.

  3. If your cruise is leaving Fort Lauderdale or Miami in February

we Fly into Fort Myers and rent a car works great for us. Extends our trip several days for no extra cost.

You could also check flights to Orlando

  4. We're in the same boat with OBC, Gopher. We have a ton, so I'm trying not to book anything else until we're on board. It doesn't sound like specialty restaurant reservations are all that hard to get, if you're flexible.

We are open to joining in for a dinner at the Samba if you would like

But I also understand if you want to do it just the two of you.

I will check with you at sail away !! deck 11 port side

  5. Great review Thanks !!
We have not yet been on the big ships. our first is set for Allure in September
then Oasis in January then Allure January 2016. We book one ocean Balcony
One Central Park and then Boardwalk Balcony deck 11 last cabin.
so after all that should have a good idea of what we waited so long to do.
    Thanks again for your review.
  6. I have 4 cruises booked . I booked them all on my own with RCL then transferred the bookings to a TA and received over $1,000 total in OBC and pre paid Gratuities and dinners. none of the bookings was more than a balcony with one being an inside cabin. The highest price paid was 2,100 including taxes. I have made 3 changes to the original bookings with no problem. Hope it all works out well in the end.

  7. We're leaving on October 4th out of San Juan on JOS, I would like to know if there would be anyplace on board to watch a game. We don't depart till around 8:30, so I was hoping to watch the OSU game at noon. Are the bars open at that time? Thanks for the help.

Their should be at least one game on but you never know which Game. it will depend on the overall importance of the game on a national basis most likely.

I also love my college football we will be on cruise Sept. 13th and have no idea who I will get to watch. Gophers play at TCU so I doubt it will be the Gophers. I see you are from Indiana but is your team the Buckeye's

    GO BIG 10
