  1. This is a hard post to read as we are booked on Beyond in October and it’s fully paid for. I’m in the “positive vibes only” mode in my brain. I’m sorry your experience was so disappointing.
  2. If you’re spending a sea day on the retreat deck on Beyond, where’s the closest place to get lunch to bring back to your seats? Are there servers on the retreat deck offering you a lunch food menu? Cam I get room service delivery to the retreat deck?
  3. Are there are more chair hogs on the retreat deck or around the main pool?
  4. I loved my Blu breakfasts on Equinox. Excellent and felt luxurious. We were already in concierge class and the upgrade cost was minimal to Aqua. Dinner in Blu was elegant and enjoyable. We also ate in specialty restaurants.
  5. Probably not. There will likely be 5 more pages of comments
  6. Block them. Problem solved. Why keep looking at posts from people who annoy you so much ?
  7. If everyone searched for the answers to their questions this board would be dead and I would stop looking at it. I don’t mind repeat questions because the drama of people complaining about repeat questions makes this board amusing. I have one question myself. Are tips included when you get a premium drink with a classic package?
  8. I’m booked in a sky suite and I don’t do this on my upcoming roll call but I get it. If you’re in a suite and intend to spend your days on the retreat deck and your meals in Luminae you may want to try to focus your efforts on on making friends who will be in the spaces you will also be in.
  9. CASUAL CHIC NIGHTS Apply to the MDR only. Usually twice on a 7 night cruise and typically on the first and last sea day. If you want to have a better idea which nights it will be consult the Celebrity app and look for your itinerary or one similar to yours for your ship if your sailing isn’t listed yet. Things can change sometimes at the Captain’s discretion so nothing is set in stone. I’ll let someone else post about wearing shorts.
  10. In a class society a second class citizen can’t pay to be first class. They are what they are. On a cruise ship anybody can buy the perks which come with a suite. The perks are the value-added benefits which the cruise line includes so people like you and me will be induced into spending 2-3 times what others are paying for to get a few extra square feet in your cabin. The beauty of the program is if you want a bigger cabin and more perks and access to special spaces, you can pay for it. You don’t have to be jealous others are getting something you are not. You can have it too if you want it.
  11. How about a chilled washcloth?
  12. I’ll start the list… NO SELF-SERVICE LAUNDRY on any Celebrity ship but you can send your clothes out for laundry and dry cleaning services.
  13. I’ve read many posts by people who have said they love the exclusivity and service in Luminae but they weren’t crazy about the menu. Some have said they prefer Blu’s food and menu. Some prefer the MDR or recommend meals in the specialty restaurants. Others have been quite happy with the menu in Luminae. As a reader of these posts, booked in an E class Sky suite in October for 9 nights, I now have concerns based on the opinions you’ve all expressed. I’m looking forward to breakfast in Luminae but dinners, not so much. We like good and interesting foods but we also like basic too sometimes. There’s nothing wrong with a Caesar Salad, a decent steak, sautéed vegetables and roasted potatoes. (On one night) I don’t need a Black Forest balsamic glaze on my sliced filet or candied shallots on my Brussels sprouts. I just want delicious food, decent portions, and a server who is competent. What was your experience? Should I be excited or prebook 8 nights in specialty restaurants?
  14. I've searched the boards and I'm still unclear what "Le Grand Bistro" is, and how the space is utilized for Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon, Dinner and Late Night on Apex and Edge. I've read there will be a Le Grand Bistro on Beyond, which I'm sailing on in October Can someone walk me through it ? Thanks.
