  1. Having done this several times in the past couple years I’d say it worked well, no issues and the ship said there was no need to give them more than a couple days notice. Last time was October 2022 where I got off 2 days early in Poland as the airports in London were having issues and flights back to the states were much more expensive. I followed guest services advice and it worked perfectly. Having done route sector deviations in the past I wouldn’t bother for Europe in the future.
  2. Princess shoreside/off the ship will make it complicated once you are on the ship let guest services know you plan to disembark early. Give them a minimum of two days notice. Guest services told me that you can disembark without telling them unless you want to rejoin the ship at a later port. Very easy to do in Europe but don’t try this on a ship that has port stops in the US.
  3. The room service used to be the ones to contact to swap out the mini bar, more recently it’s been the cabin stewards and most recently a mix between the two. I’ve been on 4 day cruises and up to 20 day cruises this year as recently as June 7th and never had an issue switching out the mini bar.
  4. Try to get a Birth Certificate emailed/fax to you from her home county first thing in the morning. Some counties will do this.
  5. Likely the first leg of the b2b those who have it the second sailing we’re not able to book it the first sailing so it was their turn?
  6. Elite and Platinum have early access to dining reservations so yes that added information was helpful.
  7. I was on this Discovery cruise and thought it was a great cruise! I won the tournament 😉
  8. Do you know the day the Caribbean sale will start?
  9. I’m on the Discovery Princess and like an occasional Root Beer which only comes in cans on the ship. When asked a server reported that cans are now also complementary on the Princess Plus/ Premier plans. It appears the written policy has not caught up to this recent change.
  10. I buy when it’s much lower than typical and set a limit order when it bounces up .50/$1. Haven’t lost yet except for selling too soon and could have made $100’s more by holding for a month instead of only $100. Even today it’s bounced around .50.
  11. I usually wait til it bounces up .50 cents then sell.
  12. It doesn’t help to be elite when trying to get help from customer service, they still put you on hold for hours and won’t address requests/needs.
  13. So embarking in Seattle if the final cruise of the three disembarked in Seattle, instead of SF it would be ok as it’s a closed loop.
  14. So how are ships going to Hawaii RT from SF/LA with just a stop in Ensenada if your information is accurate. I know Canada is not considered a distant foreign port.
  15. Yes that is accurate, however if they looked at the whole journey including the stop in Mexico it should be ok, but they won’t get past the 2nd leg Vancouver to SF because initial cruise embarks in Seattle.
  16. Nope they booked me then cancelled. Each cruise is viewed separately so it is a violation.
  17. I had a similar booking for April/May 2023. LA to Vancouver then Vancouver to Seattle and customer service called and said I had to cancel the Vancouver to Seattle leg as it was in violation.
  18. No it violates the PVSA on the 2nd leg. They view it as individual segments not the whole voyage.
  19. Purchased 100 shares today at $6.17. I’ll get $600 in OBC this month from the SHB.
  20. June 2022, with only carry on luggage I made a 7:40 flight from Barcelona to London. Tight but I was not rushed.
  21. Do you remember if this happened in 2022? It seems to be a new policy just this year. It doesn’t seem ethical.
  22. Also if you want to use OBC in the casino charge to your room on a slot machine and play a few spins cash out then go to cashier and ask to redeem your banked funds. The room charges will pull from your OBC on your account. If you ask at the cashier you will likely be denied or it will be an extended hassle. I’ve overheard folk trying to do this at the cashier ans told they would have to call a manager etc … and not sure if it was approved after all that.
  23. Is anyone else having issues with Princess Players Club canceling their cruises booked under a casino offer due to redeploying ships to other areas (Sapphire and Ruby) and not being allowed to rebook or use the replacement cruise offered in the Princess emails? This has only been an issue since 2022 before that I’ve always been able to rebook to another cruise or to the replacement voyage. Anyone else having this happen in 2022? These changes are discretionary and they’ve had my money for years in some cases.
  24. Has anyone tried booking cruises from Australia using this offer or LA to Australia?
