  1. In the Eden, did they have any shows other than just music performance, like where folks dressed up in costumes? Hope you tried the Eden Cafe cookies and brownies which I believe are only available during lunch hours on sea days!
  2. Fair point however 3:2 BJ is the best odds offered by X since if they offer Baccarat it's the no commission version.
  3. On the last sailing for the first time I noticed it said for laundry up to 30 items. I'm used to the "fill the bag" specials offered by X (pre-pandemic) and other lines but now wonder if I need to even bother with the bag? The problem is one pair of jeans and a dress shirt take up a sizeable portion of the bag. Going on a very long sailing so need to be strategic.
  4. On the last night the capt made an announcement that we crossed the 1% threshold, rumors of around 100 positives. On the FB group several (that's still a tiny amount) have said they tested positive.
  5. Was told the CC concierge can fix it but I've never tried. There are plenty of times in the sailing when you can go to guest relations when there's no line
  6. Did you talk to guest relations and ask if it could be fixed? Many have reported that using the app as a key randomly stops working until they go to guest relations to get it fixed.
  7. Formal nights are gone, only Chic nights. For those on team "enforce the dress code during dinner" would be disappointed.
  8. Overall the food was no better and no worse than on previous X sailings. Only ate the MDR for dinner once, no wait; ate at Blu most other nights. Have been in Carnival pools where you're literally shoulder to shoulder, nothing close to that. Hot tubs, both indoor and outdoor were very packed late morning and all day but usually dead except if sailing away 5pm and later.
  9. Pretty much agree with you word for word. They also had a passenger participation shows by the Activity Director most if not every night at 8pm. I do understand in the daily activities there's always some event going on but they'll block off an hour for archery competition that's over in 10mins due to minimal participation and they also block off two hours for a movie playing.
  10. I sail monthly on X, usually out of FLL/Port Everglades; priority embarkation still exists and is utilized. Been through multiple FLL terminals, embarkment times haven't been enforced or even checked since 2021. Back then they were limiting how many people could be inside the terminal building, that rule/requirement is long gone.
  11. No; I've been on 8 X sailings since the restart (4 on the 'Nox as I prefer avoiding the Bahamas and Mexico) and have never seen a laundry deal advertised.
  12. They were all very good. Sometimes it's a small band and other times it's a duet with instrumentals (no vocals) only.
  13. Missed this from earlier. The entertainers are all great but prefer for a lot of music. Otherwise there isn't much going on particularly in the day time on sea days, many read books/kindles and play cards/boardgames with each other. The main show is at 7pm and repeats at 9pm shows. The musical is maybe a concert or maybe a show with a story line with props but it was a musical. I cruise on X quite a bit and a lot of the "production" shows are the same on all ships like "Topper" and "Broken Strings". The entertainers were all great but IMO, X needs more variety than just musicals and I also wish they replaced the production shows with well known Broadway shows like RCL does. We were on a ten night sailing and nine nights it was a musical and one night was a magician. I love comedians and we had a few shows that were at 1015pm including on a night before we had a 7am port of call the next day. I'd much prefer they have a multiple comedians a night like RCL or Carnival. On land and sea I've probably seen 500+ live comedy shows, this comedian was one of the funniest live shows I've ever seen. This was despite several people around us who felt the need to scream out he uses the F-word too much. In summary, I think they would benefit from a nightly comedy show, more variety of shows and more things to do on a sea day during the daytime.
  14. There are some pros to this as a crew member told me. I did validate the following, the only X ship visiting is the equinox and ONLY on Sunday, like the crew member said. They are only allowed to stop on sundays as that's what the government wanted, they didn't want to congest the island on working days. A lot of locals avoid the areas by the port so you get less congestion and crowds. Took the ferry and there were still plenty of restaurants and even some shops open. But attractions like the fort are indeed closed.
  15. They usually have prime rib on the first night so many avoid making specially dining reservations on the first night
  16. Not a Celebrity thing, is a third party that Celebrity worked with. This is common misconception with a big consequence being because it's a 3rd party most travel insurances won't cover lost luggage if your luggage never shows up to the departing airport. It's important to talk to insurance provider to see if coverage can be added for a 3rd party luggage handler.
  17. For future questions, I probably WON'T recall many names of the crew. What was the capacity, please? Just under 2300 Did the back to backs have to test? Wasn't B2B but my best guess is "yes" because both the sailing I was on and the next were 9+ nights which requires testing. Do you know if Ian was at the Sky Lounge bar? IDK, never sat at the SL bar, simply utilized their waitstaff. Also I assume Z was still at the World Class Bar. IDK, didn't spend much time at the WCB.
  18. You're going about it the wrong way; don't bother with PROMO chips. Unless you're gambling a lot you only get one shot at the following so do it for at least the full OBC amount you're trying to "refund", don't try to "test" this for like $20. Tagging in @canderson who requested these instructions in the past: 1) Slot machine room charge, most ships allow this right at their slot machine (some ships require you to go to the cashier, request a room charge then they give you a paper voucher) for the OBC amount (or more, great if you want credit card points). Any casino employee is happy to help you walk through it. 2) Press "cash out", once the slot machine room charge is complete (or you inserted the cashier voucher) press "cash out" on the slot machine, then bring that cash out voucher to the cashier; you're welcome to hold onto it for another day. Once you do this, you'll be "flagged" from more gambling for this sailing unless you "convince" a casino manager you made a mistake. There are no other consequences, if you plan on gambling at all on the sailing wait toward the end of the cruise to do the room charge/cash out.
  19. Many great lunch places to choose from right in FLL. I don't find buffet during embarkation day that crowded. It is a mad house on a sea day during lunch, however.
  20. Very welcome, you actually have to walk through the fitness center to access it. When they invite various groups to watch from the helipad you can see them all.
  21. I just so happen to see a college football game on at Craft Social one evening; there's also TVs at the casino bar that had sports on yet I rarely walk it as it's off to the side.
  22. Just got off the equinox, biggest tip is in front of the fitness center there is a viewing area that is great to visit while pulling into or out of a port
  23. As far as dining "wish lists" are concerned, I can say with certainty a rolling table wouldn't be in my top 10. 🤔
