I have never understood what amt to figure my rebate on? I use to get it a a welcome gift when we returned and seemed a considerable larger amt than the amt I am now receiving. I did have to change TA as the company I was using closed. Also now it is on your account on the ship but can be withdrawn at end of cruise. Also I have found that my TA gives a small amt and I mean a real small amt of OBC. Maybe after Covid things have been cut back.. We have had many $40,000 cruise fares and I have never $4,000. What are we doing wrong?

Thank everyone will check with the companies that Mr Bull provided. I do appreciate all the advice. Usually we use Regent air so have not ever had to do this but I have credit I have to use or will lose it. This is definitely not my cup of tea.

The issue is that the base fare I paid is actually more than what is listed on their website as the base fare. Also the suite I booked is sold out as are most all categories or at least waitlisted. Oh well move on and don’t fret the small stuff.

I just noticed that the air credit for booking own air on our May cruise on Splendor for next year just increased from 2300 pp to 2580 pp. I notified my TA and Regent said that would have to increase our cruise price by 210 pp. I am starting to get very upset with Regent. They certainly are not the same cruise line prior to Covid. Why offer that higher price for air on a cruise that is almost totally waitlisted if not going to honor it?

Ship arrives at 6:00 am and our flight leaves Heathrow at 1:40 p.m. We will not be able to walk off with our Luggage but don’t believe we would need to with a 1:40 departure.

My husband and I will be disembarking from our cruise in Southampton and wanting a transfer from cruise terminal to Heathrow. Does anyone have any suggestions for that? Also can private drivers come directly to the cruise terminal?

No we are Mariner on Oct 25 return Nov 3 LA-LA I checked the port schedule and on our return we are at pier 46 way down the way. We booked our own air to get non stop flights so flying home from LBA and trying to book transfer to airport. We fly in on American to LAX and one using Regent transfer to ship but can’t seem to get an answer regarding transfer to LBA on return. Did you guys have a wonderful trip? Chose a good time to go as the weather here was brutal this summer. We did have a great time on Explorer for the Holy Lands. What a wonderful experience. Made it home with no issues but upon return both Ron and I had Covid. When we returned still had to be tested to return to US so we made it but 2 days later came down with Covid. There were people on our ship that had Covid and also ones on the post cruise that we did that tested positive. But we made it home whew. Not any real issues with it.

We disembark at pier 46 in Oct on Mariner and will need transportation to Long BeachAirport. Will we have to get our luggage and get on the shuttle to main exit or can the drivers come down to pier 46. This is confusing. Also exactly which cruise port is this?

We stayed at the Divani Caravel in May with Regent for our cruise from Athens to Israel on Explorer. The hotel wasn’t that bad but not a great location. The picture you posted doesn’t look like where we stayed but I will say the rooms were just okay and the breakfast venue was like a large cafeteria not great. Definitely not what we are use to with Regent. Over the years we have stayed in some great hotels with Regent but this one was down on the list. Good luck.

I have noticed that these requirements are not up to date as some still have August dates. Wondering what is going on.

Step notification basically do not travel to Mexico Baja area . Carnival and Royal have cancelled stops due to cartel violence. What I read was that some members of the cartel were arrested and the members are burning and attacking. There was an art iCal in The NY Times about this. If it’s not Covid it is some other issues. Very hard to make travel plans.

Are ships cancelling ports in Mexico due to all the cartel violence. I received notice from STEP not to travel to Mexico. We are scheduled in Oct to cruise several ports in Baja area.

What options do you have if many of your ports are dropped due to violence or if the ports are completely changed and the final payment has been made? This hasn’t occurred yet but could be a possibility with all the cartel violence Baja Mexico .

We are PH and they are all booked. Everything except some concierge are booked. we are gold level.

Let me know what you find out. In the past always received the offer of OBC or price reductions but seems may not be the case now. A lot of changes and not for the best in my opinion.

Has anyone had any luck receiving the new offers if you are booked but have not made final payment? Does the cabin you are currently booked have to be available to receive the new promotion?

Glad George is doing okay. We were on the Explorer cruise before yours and when we returned back to US my husband and I both tested positive a few days after returning. We were lucky because to return we had to have a neg test to return to US. We did fine.

Yes we are flying from Texas to Toronto with Air Canada and changing planes in Toronto and flying from there to Athens on Air Canada. We will not be leaving the terminal. So we do not have to fill out info for Arrivecanada is that correct?

If we just have a connecting flight in Toronto do we need to do the Arrive Canada forms? We will not leave the airport for our connecting flight.

We are flying AC from Austin Texas to Athens Greece with a layover of 3 hours at Toronto. Are any tests required for the flight from Austin to Canada and we will not be leaving terminal? Also what terminal would we arrive at and what terminal would we depart? Have never flow AC but have been told the international flights are great.

When do we receive the info regarding the requirements for each port on your cruise. We begin our cruise on May 24 so waiting on docs .
