My grandson & wife are joining us on a Carib cruise. We all have the pkg that includes Wifi. They have a business and probably will need to keep in touch often during the cruise by phone/text. Will they be able to do that? I turn my phone off when I get on board so have no idea how it works. Should they sign up with their carrier to be able to make calls from various ports? Can they do it from the ship? Appreciate any info you can give me. Thanks.

Any comments re the Hyatt Regency at 400 South East Second Ave? We found a decent rate there for April but generally lean toward Hampton Inn's, which was a little more.

I should know this, but Can only one person in the cabin get the drink pkg or does it have to be both pax?

Are you saying if we find a lower price on a cruise before final payment, we could lose the Elevate pkg we have now?

If we pay for Celebrity cruise insurance within a couple days after booking, and later for some reason have to cancel BEFORE final payment , will we get the insurance cost refunded?

Altho we usually book the Premium AI pkg, I'm looking at the "Elevate" option. It will cost us $210pp more, but you get $200 in OBC for Shore Excursions. Since we don't usually take the excursions, can we use the OBC for something else? Think I've read something about this previously but can't seem to find it. Thanks.

Are there any advantages to using a Celebrity Vacation Planner (CVP)? I'm holding a FCC deposit and I've received an email asking me to contact her for the best rate, etc. In the past I've dealt only with the normal reservation agents or a TA. Thanks for any info you can give me.

We bought a FC deposit back in November but didn't book a cruise within the prescribed 90 days. Will I still be able to use the $100 FC deposit as the deposit on a cruise I'm looking at now for next year? I understand I won't get any of the OBC but just want to know if the $100 deposit will be valid. Hope I'm clear in what I'm asking. Thanks!
