Perhaps post the actual cabin number, and search this site for that number. Often someone will post pictures.
I did try searching for the cabin with no luck. It's 4008 on the Majesty of the Seas. :)

We always fly in at least a day before the cruise.
We always purchase our Welcome Aboard photo-even if it's awful!:D
We always go to the Schooner Bar for a drink right after boarding.
We always play 'win a cruise' BINGO- mind you, we have never won it, but we are always hopeful.
Tara
P.S. I'm sure I can think of some more!
Not so much that I wanted to awaken this old thread, but more just wanted to say "Hi Tara!" :D
But I will add a few...
- Always have a glass of wine or champagne while sitting on the balcony watching the vast ocean
- Always purchase at least one photo
- Always order a late-night snack from room service
- Always have a glass of wine or champagne while sitting on the balcony watching the vast ocean

Noticed that no one has replied to your posting. Haven't sailed the Majesty for many, many years, but did have an interior stateroom with two Pullman beds. We had the standard bed split into two twins, and so had four "single" beds.
Suggest checking the deck plan. There is a key that shows the number of berths in a cabin. Normally the main bed is made up as a queen, but easily splits into two singles (cabin steward will take care of). Third person usually sleeps on a Pullman, or sofa sleeper. No room in most cabins for a roll away. I don't think they are offered on cruise ships, unless perhaps in a large suite.
Thanks for the response! I did check the deck plan, which is where the question came from. It shows the stateroom as having one pull down berth, but it sleeps four. It also stated the lower beds cannot be put together; they are singles. I called RCI and got a very helpful person on the phone who confirmed the stateroom chosen does indeed have only one pullman, and the other three will sleep in lower berths. I'm curious to see just what this looks like! The deck plan does show the room as being slightly longer than the rest, so anything is possible! :)

It looks like there are a few staterooms on the Majesty which sleep four, but have only one upper berth. They also state the lower berths are in an L shape and cannot be pushed together. Does this mean there is a third lower bed also, or do they bring in a cot?
Thanks in advance!

Same cruise.. I have been stressing for days... about a cruise. :o first world problems I guess. I think we will make our cruise.
I hope all those affected... Haiti, Cuba, Turks, Bahamas, and Americans... all stay safe!
Well said. Hoping for the best for the folks who live in the path of this storm.

Thank you for the responses everyone! This helps tremendously. :)

Hey all! For anyone who has sailed out of Jacksonville (whether Elation or Fascination), how long does it take to sail out of the port, down the river, and to the ocean? Just trying to plan departure day and where to be on the ship (and when!). :) Thanks!

Just joining in and really enjoying your review!

No worries!
And thanks for sharing them here. I'm sure Scott wouldn't mind a second set as yours seem to be in pristine condition!
And that debark page is an invaluable resource!

Good point! Just uploaded them...hopefully he can use something from the batch. Thanks for the nice comments. :)

As DaKa2002 said, great job! Very clear scans!
Have you also thought about sending them to Scott at the disneycruiselineblog?
He has a very large audience beyond CC, so they would be very beneficial to a wider audience as well. Especially the 2 page debark procedure letters!
The upload link is here:

I was going to send them to him also, but another cruiser from our cruise sent his. :) I'll check to see if the debark info is up, and if not scan those to his site. Thanks for the link!

Castaway Cay Map
Disembarkation Day Info
And even though it is not noted on the disembarkation info sheet, Cabanas is open for breakfast on that morning until 8:30 a.m.

Just found this great review! Thank you for taking the time to write it.

We sailed Ruby Princess in 2013 and loved it. She is a beautiful ship, and a sister ship to Caribbean Princess. Everything about the cruise was wonderful, and I cannot understand why no other cruise line has been able to match Princess' standard with the buffet concept!
So glad you enjoyed your cruise!

I'm pretty certain Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is strictly for children ages 3 to 12. My sister once bought a princess dress for my niece, and dolled her all up herself...and my niece LOVED it! Maybe sneak a princess/pirate outfit on and surprise your little one in your stateroom!

Website issues. The Magic cruises occasionally have been disappearing the past couple of days. Contact a TA who has access to the TA portal, which is hosted differently.

Our February cruise went up $13.50 per person, but with the OBC we came out $144 ahead. Works for me!

Papa Vitos in Cape Canaveral for your pre or post cruise fix.
Think anyone would notice me bringing on contraband? Ha ha! That does look good!
I completely understand, to help slide it over to the actual enjoy they usually have hot pepper seeds and a Parmesan shaker nearby. It helps. If you grab a hot piece it can be made edible. Thanks for the tip! Will give that a try!

Enjoying your review! I will be sailing Enchantment for the first time in February...seeing current reviews helps to prepare me for what to expect!

You guys have me convinced...I won't be "enjoying" pizza on our cruise! :D I might be eating a slice, but I won't be enjoying a slice. LOL!
-
LOL! Ok, I won't look forward to it then! Thanks for the heads-up. :D

Does anyone know if there is a similar place to Sorrento's on the Enchantment of the Seas? Somewhere that has slices available during off-dining times? One of my favorite things to do is grab some pizza at odd hours of the day! (My mom too, who is sailing with me!)
Carnival - Two different snorkeling excursions
in Belize
Posted
Hello All! For anyone with experience on either of the two snorkeling excursions Carnival offers in Belize, if you could please help me understand the differences. (Even if you have just been on one, your thoughts are appreciated!)
It looks like both the "Barrier Reef Snorkel and Starfish Island Getaway" and the "Snorkeling Wonders of the Barrier Reef" take you out to the reef for snorkeling and then to an island beach afterwards. It also appears each is approximately 4 hours.
I am more interested in just snorkeling...however, never having been to Belize before, I am inclined to stick with a Carnival excursion (and will just "suck it up" with the beach break...ha ha!). How much time is spent actually snorkeling with both? Or is one (or even both) a trip out to the beach, and snorkeling is done right offshore?
HELP!
Thanks so much for any guidance!
