  1. I know; they are perpetrating fraud. Their website is selling those cruises listing all three ports. Many empty cabins for 12/3 and 12/10. They want to sell as many as possible before they post a cancelation. I believe they are fraudulently selling some that have already been changed but still list all three. And, while it's on my mind, the most vacuous response to this dilemma is "I prefer a sea day anyway." Have you ever really thought about the logic of that answer? Any day on a cruise can be a sea day - just stay on the ship. And if large groups of passengers went ashore in Port Canaveral or Nassau, it would be an even better faux "sea day."
  2. Is that before or after they put your picture on the pool jumbo screen?
  3. They employ former carney workers from the "Guess your Weight" booth. If they miss by more than 3 pounds, you win an RCI key chain. If they miss by more than 5, you get a RCI highlighter!
  4. I have sailed on Grandeur and Enchantment out of Baltimore many times. Grandeur primarily used the Schooner Bar and sometimes the Centrum for trivia. Enchantment used the Spotlight Lounge and sometimes the Schooner Bar. On the Vision deck maps, it seems that the placement of Giovanni's decreases the Schooner Bar size substantially. Anyone have relatively recent experience where Vision hosts her trivia games? Thanks.
  5. Richard Spacey and Leigh Xuereb. Deck parties - day and/or night. Actual mattresses, not the thickness of an incontinency pad. The word "yes" when making requests or asking for help. Being able to bring permitted soda, water, or wine in a checked bag instead of a carry on. A sensible parking rate at Cape Liberty. I'm just parking a car, not investing in the garage. And after paying full price, $30.00 per day, being able to park in the garage rather than the dust, mud, rain, snow satellite parking with its usually unpleasant attendants. Baked goods that taste like and resemble what they are being called. Passenger courtesy and manners. Restriction of dogs that are not actual service animals. No animals in the dining room. Service dogs don't ride in perambulators, eat at the dining tables, bark, be allowed to pet and say "oh how cute." All cruise lines and transportation options need to grow a pair and start enforcing the actual ADA policy. Want emotional support? Bring Dr. Phil (and put him on a leash, too). "Cats!" Oh, wait, that's one I'd like to get rid of.🙃
  6. And opened to read when it can be passed by!
  7. Five things. At my age, I go to the bathroom to avoid a later emergency. I'm usually carrying a RCI satchel with two twelve packs of soda and sometimes a bottle of wine. I always put a room tag on it even though it's a carry-on. I take the elevator to my floor and see if the crew is already assembling luggage in one of the two lobbies. I leave the bag with the other luggage already there. I wait until about 10 minutes after the rooms are available and then go to lunch. There is usually an exodus and tables are easier to find. If I'm going to use my D+ BOGO for specialty dining, I make those reservations. Then, I check my cabin for ghosts and pirates! Can't be too careful.
  8. M M, The Hilton was my go-to in Nassau. Short walk, good beach, pools, not too pricey, food credit included. It would have met ALL your needs. But I'm fairly certain that they are permanently closed. Though the buildings are still there, Google Maps lists no ownership of the location. I was considering just walking down to the beach area bringing a Walmart camp chair. The palapas may still be standing.
  9. I don't think I could be comfortable in a shirt made of loose-leafed greens!
  10. The med fridge does have small capacity. Size isn't extreme, but it is somewhat bulky. There's room for it in an Anthem balcony cabin. The problem is access to an outlet which restricts where it can be placed. After one use of the med fridge, I just relied on that cabins cooler/refrigerator. I have always found that cold enough for my meds. Five Anthem balcony cruises without a problem.
  11. Many people don't seem to see how this is a subtle cutback, but it is.
  12. Whenever Royal has "great news" for us, I quickly get skeptical. So what does this mean? No mimosas and Marys on debarkation day. The benefit ended at 4:49 am. Seems like a way to serve fewer voucher drinks per cruise.
  13. Yeah, flawless logic. And let's add if you can't afford your medications, don't live!
  14. Some suggestions; one even for formal night.
  15. Tell me where you located this right to travel. In the Bill of Rights to Travel? It's their town. What about their rights? Soon as someone says "I'm an American," I assume I'm in for a load.
