Time for a new job 😁 -
It's worth a couple of hours to go up top. Can you include that?

EZPZ to get a vaporetto. Station is at the airport. Hotel can get you one when you want it. Good luck with the trains. Leave yourself plenty of time. You never know what will happen

Wanting Something Different To Do in Naples
Molokai_Traveler replied to wolfpackmom's topic in Italy Ports
Get a pizza. Naples has many very interesting and fun places. Try this one Pizzeria Laezza. Sit outside and enjoy the neighborhood with your pizza and wine. Close to the pier- walkable -
I've done this. I'd not buy something in advance. If all else fails, the top is worth the trip. There's plenty of interesting restaurants and sites. Also public transportation is easy

La Spezia? Anything to do within a short drive?
Molokai_Traveler replied to skiiergirl's topic in Italy Ports
The train is an option when all else fails. In an emergency, take a taxi. -
You have to change trains in Pisa. It takes about 2 hours. The last time we took this route our return trip was delayed 5 hours. Fortunately the celebrity Beyond was overnighting.

FOR YOUR 2023 CRUISING DOLLAR, DOES X MARK THE SPOT?
Molokai_Traveler replied to Spif Barwunkel's topic in Celebrity Cruises
This is an interesting thread. I have cruised for over 33 years. More than 50 cruises. Ships have changed and so have the passengers. My favorite cruise is always the one I'm currently on. My first consideration when booking a cruise is the ship. A large part of the ship is the crew. These people make the ship work for me. We always book a balcony and now the all inclusive drinks, Wi-Fi, tips package. When I board, I don't even want to spend a single second thinking about the cost. I book my specialty restaurants in advance at the time I want to go. We enjoy the evening entertainment every night. Some things are great and some things are just enjoyable. It's all better than nothing. I book my cruises 2 years in advance. I get a decent location for a decent price. I have a great travel agency. They know what we want and they get us the best deal. I currently have 10 cruises booked. As soon as the restaurant reservations open I will book. So I book mostly on Celebrity. Occasionally Princess. I see continuity of quality or better on both products. We sailed on the inagural voyage of the Beyond. What a beautiful ship. Great restaurants. Captain Kate. It's obvious that Celebrity is trying to attract high end cruisers. The areas for suite customers is stunning. The specialty restaurants are incredible. The theater is unbelievable. I'm a happy cruiser. Money is just a tool. There are things in life....... -

You are right. Princess said - "On your confirmation, this is what it read when you first booked- “Guests who book this promotion will receive the following: *Premier Beverage Package for all guests in the cabin who have booked the Best Value package. Inclusive of bar service charge. For all guests under the drinking age, the Premier Coffee & Soda Package will be provided as an alternative” On a confirmation we rec’d after May, it now states- “Guests who book this promotion will receive the following: *Plus Beverage Package for all guests in the cabin who have booked the Best Value package. Inclusive of bar service charge. For all guests under the drinking age, the Plus Coffee & Soda Package will be provided as an alternative”
