  1. He never saw me…. I was near the dock and not in his sight. I have traveled all over the world these last 10 years with my O2 and cannula. Never been denied like this before. Not inEurope, not in Africa, not in South America, not in Asia.. ship and land tours. I know my limitations. Most times on a bus tour I do not get off the bus. On this sailing, we did two bus tours. I remained on the bus both times because I know my limitations with steps and distances. The third tour was this…
  2. You were not there. When I met with the DM or on the dock. You have no information. Why did the DM give me the tickets? Why did the person collect my tickets from me?
  3. Further explanation is necessary. I checked with the Destinations Manager regarding this tour on St. Barts. It was a catamaran boat. No problem getting on. I have done them many times. Five steps. I can do that. I do not swim or snorkel. Just relax in the boat until we get off. Then back to the tender. That’s why she thought it would be fine. The semi submarine has 10 steep steps. Not good for me to get off. I do check everything out carefully. Two reasons..to make sure I can handle it and to avoid interfering with other guests. any questions…just ask. sheila
  4. I brought the matter to his attention. He listened. Never got back to me… I spoke with folks in the main office. Still waiting to hear from them also… sheila
  5. Thanks for your support… hope one day you don’t have my issues! Then you will understand how I feel….
  6. I agree that if a tour is fully booked… it was still offered. Please understand my issue. If there are no tours offered for limited mobility folks, it does not meet the criteria . If there are no tours offered, the advertising is false. sheila
  7. Please remember that although Regent tours are “included”, they differ from the other included items. If they are included, a tour must be available to all passengers. No matter the handicap. If there is no tour for a handicapped person, it is not “ included”. It is different than liquor or a butler.. That is a choice. sheila
  8. Hi Greg Thank you so much for your encouragement and kind words. sheila
  9. You are so correct. That’s exactly what should have happened…but didn’t. I was left totally helpless and had no control of this situation..BTW.. no apology from anyone involved at the time. sheila
  10. He was there in January. Same cruise as you. He was obnoxious then and even more cocky now! sheila
  11. Yes.. I met with the manager of shore excursions when I boarded. I do this every time we sail. I reviewed all my tours with her..we changed one but this one was fine with her. This is my own personal experience. I don’t speak for everyone. I was not treated well! sheila
  12. Thanks so much for understanding how awful I felt. sheila
  13. Franck is not onboard. He was here on our last sailing end of January. I don’t know this new guy. And, I don’t want to spend the rest of this cruise tracking him down. But thanks for the good advice. sheila
  14. Please read my responses. After I board a bus, I remain in my seat. My husband help me on and assists me when the tour is over. I have seen folks who take risks. That’s not me…. sheila
  15. Thank you…my husband help me always in boarding buses. I have usually remain on the bus until tour is over. I never hold anyone up. sheila
  16. I do not mean to extend this discussion…however… this is what happened… I met with Joanne the day before to review my remaining tours. I do not slow anyone down. St. Barts….. I was to board the catamaran..five steps. Which I can do.. stay on the boat until we return. Then, disembark same steps and board the tender, located directly next to the boat. easy..peasy. I was told to wait until everyone boarded the catamaran by Gersson from Shore Excursions. . I did. I was then told the captain rejected my boarding. Problem was… he couldn’t see me where I was sitting. He had no idea who I was or what my capacity was. There were some who boarded with canes. The woman who collected my ticket never told me there would be a problem. Gersson, from shore excursions, would not pay any attention to me or my issue. After, he just said to get back on the tender. I was left in tears and returned to the ship…. I know I should just let go,but, I have never been so insulted or hurt. Shame on the Regent folks. Time to seek other options…. sheila
  17. Thanks so much…your opinion is important to me. You made me feel better. sheila
