  2. Enjoy your two Thanksgiving Dinners with your DD's and their families, Deb and Andy! Safe travels to both locations!🦃 Thank you so much, Graham! The dinners that you and Pauline have been enjoying look scrumptious! Thank you, Bonnie. The same to you and Jack. So sorry your plans had to change due to Covid.
  3. Safe travels! Enjoy your cruise on the Adventure tomorrow! 🛳️ Happy Thanksgiving to you, Toby, and your loving family, Lenny! Good for you, Marietta! We still have lots of leaves to come down...hopefully by next week, we can finally finish leaf clean-up and Christmas decorating can then begin! That looks so delicious!!!!!
  4. So glad Donna is feeling better and Chris is fine. Enjoy your weekend in LBI. I know you have work to do, but there's nothing like being down at the Shore. Temperatures should be in your favor, also! Enjoy your celebratory dinner with the kids! Oh, and have a healthy and Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow! Happy Thanksgiving, Marietta, Charlie, and family!!🥰
  5. We don't buy our travel insurance through the cruise lines. We go through Travel Insured... My cousin would love you, Greg! She posts daily how many days until Christmas. While we never, ever, decorated on the scale that you do, we have nonetheless cut down on our indoor Christmas decorations, most especially since we head South around Dec. 28th. Santa collections live in their boxes along with some of our Christmas Village. My entire Nativity that I painted 50 years ago still comes out, though...at least 15 pieces, and our angels and gnomes make it out. Of course, we still have to get the highest Christmas tree that will fit in our living room... Priceless! Nothing beats an enjoyable family get-together!
  6. @FromSea2ShiningSeaThank you for sharing your beautiful pictures...you certainly have the talent for capturing the best of all that you see. Keep the pictures coming! 💐
  7. We were in the auditorium watching a movie, when Mother Superior turned it off and announced the tragedy; we all left the auditorium and went up to the school Chapel to pray for our beloved President. How is your granddaughter doing? Hopefully she is much better and is up and around. Your DD is always on my mind, and in my prayers🙏
  8. Oh, yes. I finally decided to write a cover page, describing our entire ordeal, starting with Ship Infirmary, ER in St. John Regional Hospital, NB, and Queen Elizabeth II Infirmary, where surgery took place. There is not enough room to fill info out on these forms, not to mention they want Dr. to fill in info. I'm sending all of the Dr and Hospital reports, Hotel, prescriptions, etc. I then made columns with all of expenses...one column with Canadian hospital etc charges, and column with what we paid in US Dollars. Thankfully my daughter will take the forms and pages of receipts, payment papers, etc and will fax them all for me. I just want to be done, and hope all is well so we can get reimbursed in full.🙏
  9. No worries! My mind feels fried after working on my Travel Insurance papers for a good part of the day...🤷‍♀️
  10. Great pictures of the lighthouse, Atlantis, and the ships all in one shot!!
  11. Welcome to Cruise Critic! We used our $50 OBC towards our drink package on our cruise planner, but the OBC was part of the promotion when we booked our cruise and was listed on our booking confirmation page.
  12. Today was the last day of the High School play, "A Christmas Carol". Jack was the Sound Assistant. What an awesome play the school put on! Acting, wardrobe, props, set design, lighting, everything...I was very impressed. Of course, at the end of the performance and the kids were all on stage, my eyes were all misty. Happens during Parades, too... Jack did such a great job with the sound effects!!
