Good afternoon to all! Had at least a foot of snow. Hopefully our last big snowfall of the season. Our little pup Penny is enjoying her first winter here in Canada but this was too much even for her! We had to dig out a path for her. Thanks to all the pics and memes that are posted, always puts a smile on my face🙂

Happy Thursday! it’s snowing here, as usual. Unfortunately, I’m allergic to cats but my son, sister and nieces all have sweet rescue cats. We will be getting a foster dog next week, we adopted our present foster dog after having her for just one week!🙂. DH keeps reminding me that we will only be fostering, not adopting this new pup. I’m going to try and remember that! Sending positive thoughts to all.

Good afternoon and thanks for the daily! It’s snowing here but not as bad as we thought , just a few snowflakes now. I’m sorry @marshhawk , its hard to say goodbye to our beloved pets, we lost our 2 dogs last year and luckily we were able to be with them at the end. We missed having a dog and decided to foster , of course after a week we decided to adopt her. I was able to get Springsteen tickets this a.m.!! A few hoops to go through to get the tickets but so worth it. I’ll be going with DS. sending positive thoughts to all!

I drop by every once in a while, it’s a great place to visit!

Good morning to all and thanks for the Daily! here in Quebec we have Fred la Marmotte (groundhog), he died today, tomorrow will the temperature will be -28, not a good sign😱😉 on the bright side , our second foster dog arrives tomorrow! We promptly adopted the first one and our kids don’t think we get the concept of “fostering”, we will see. Sending positive thoughts to all! Jo

We had to pay for Club Orange as soon as we booked it, maybe because it was under 25.00 deposit promo? When I inquired about room upgrade, the rep said he never heard of it. He finally transferred the call to someone who was able to give the upgrade. Still feel bad we had to cancel though.

We cancelled our cruise before final payment and the Club Orange amount was completely refunded along with our deposit.

Happy New Year to all!! No hangovers here. I was in bed by 10:00.🙂. Hubby toughed it out till midnight. I hope everyone has a great year, especially good health. My appetite is finally coming back post Covid so I will make a Prime rib today. Have a great day, everyone!!

Happy holidays to all! We survived the storm with our power intact! I’m just starting to feel better post-Covid so grateful for that. I received an urgent call from a friend who fosters dogs and she needed to place a dog asap, the people who were supposed to take her could not catch a flight home. So we agreed to take the pup last night at 9 o’clock, she is exhausted but safe and happy. It changed our plans but in a good way. Hubby is already attached to her… uh oh😂 Wishing everybody Peace, Happiness and Health.

Good evening all! Snow has started here, will change to freezing rain, then straight rain, then a flash freeze followed by snow squalls. Yikes. Hope it doesn’t play out as bad as they say.🙁 On the bright side I am finally Covid negative after about 2 weeks. Still don’t feel 100% but getting there. Can’t wait to see the kids and grands! Good afternoon! Thanks for the Daily. Such nice people here! It’s a great place to visit.🙂 After avoiding Covid all this time, it finally caught up to me 10 days ago via my sweet DGD. Not fun at all🙁. Just starting to feel better now. Hubby is still negative, go figure. Luckily my son and daughter-in-law are hosting Christmas on the 26th, she even made all the tourtières! Hopefully I’ll be negative by then. I hope the weather cooperates for all the travellers and everyone stays safe. Jo

Fingers crossed! We usually book Transatlantics but the Celebrity and Princess ones are,, to put it mildly , uninspiring. Hoping HAL has a better choice.

Thanks for the daily! Wishing all a good Labour Day weekend!! It is beautiful here today, sunny and warm. Our week of minding our grand dog comes to a end tomorrow. He has been great, no doubt because of our diligent dog proofing 😄. We did, however, let our guard down last evening when our lasagna was cooling, he did not disappoint lol, managed to get a few bites in before we stopped him, oh well… we love him anyway, not boring for sure! Totally worth it with the upgrade!

We just booked a 14 day cruise and it was $15.00 a day. Wish they would be consistent!

Remembering with love all our wonderful dogs who passed. We lost our last furbaby in December, for the first time in 43 years we do not have a dog. We are, however minding our grand dog. He has been an angel, has not destroyed anything! Waiting for the other shoe to drop, lol. Recovering nicely from my wasp sting. Hope everyone has a wonderful afternoon!! Jo

Thanks for the Daily! It’s a beautiful day today, however the wasps are horrible this year🙁. I was stung today for the first time in my life🙁. I’m have a high tolerance for pain but yikes, this hurts. Icing it and Benadryl for now I guess. Wishing all a wonderful day. Jo ,

Thanks for the Daily!! I rarely post but visit quite often. Nice group of people here. We just booked a TA for next fall on HAL and are really looking forward to it 🙂. We are on our way to pick up our grand dog as our son and family are going on vacay for a week. Our grand dog is a Dobie mix rescue. He is a sweetheart but he is a thief! Last time we took care of him he ate a TV remote, 2 socks, a N95 mask and 6 hamburger buns. Lol. we are ready this time😂 Jo
