Does MTD reservation opens up around 3 months pre-cruise?

We have a cruise booked on the Oasis and this is the first time we are trying MTD.

How does this work?

Can we pre-book online the time slot we want?

If yes, how many days before crusing can we do this?

How about the shows? Do we also need to prebook? How many days before?

We just got of the Jewel in Civitavecchia and had arranged the car service to pick us up at 9:30.

We had our luggage and got of the ship at 9:10 and the car was already there.

We plan to go to the beach while our ship is in Katakolon.

Does anyone know how mcuh will a taxi for 4 cost?

Is it easy to get a taxi from the port and back?

Is it safe for a group of 2 women and 2 teenagers?

Is it exactly the same menu as in the MDR or less choice?

On Celebrity, the Elite lounge menu offers LESS than the MDR, weird isn't it?

And can I order my latte in the DL? Or I have to make it myself from the machine?

We turned Diamond on our last cruise on Celebrity where there is separate lounge for breakfast.

Is there also something similar on the Jewel?

If yes, is it in the Diamond Lounge on deck 13 or a separate area in the MDR?

BTW, my daughter is 18 on the cruise. Is she allowed to order alcoholic drinks in the DL or any of the llounges/bars on the ship.

Legal drinking age in Canada is 18. I know that in the US, it is 21.

What about on the Jewel?

We are cruising the Mediterranean + Greek islands.

We have Early Dining with the same friends in the MDR.

Now I understand. Maybe there were too many Diamonds on my Baltic cruise because I saw them everywhere in the VLC the last time.

Sorry to be asking again but I am confused: Do we get UNLIMITED drinks in the DL PLUS vouchers ( pre-loaded on your seapass) for 3 drinks to be used between 530-8:30 at the other bars?

Or just vouchers for 3 drinks, even in the DL?

On our Baltic cruise on the Serenade JUly 2016, we were not Diamond yet, but we were with some people from our roll call who are Diamonds and they were drinking a lot more than 3 drinks per person and were not charged. Is that possible? We were all seating the the VCL, not the DL

Just a quick question: We are Diamond but will be traveling with friends who are not.

If we want go to the Diamond Lounge for our evening drinks, can we order our drinks and then take them out so we can sit with our friends in the Viking Crown Lounge?

Or can we just order our drinks directly from the waiter from the Viking Crown Lounge without having to go in the Diamond Lounge?

Since our friends changed their cruise to be with us, we don't want to leave them alone but don't want to miss out the chance to have our free drinks.

Please advise.

I didn't notice this the last time we were on the Jewel. Will look for it for sure since I do need my caffeine fix every morning.

Is the coffee being made when we order? How do I find out what are the opening hours of the DL before getting onboard?

We just turn Diamond this year and will be cruising the Greek Islands on the Jewel OTS this July.

I have a few questions concerning the benefits of Diamond level on this particular ship:

1/ Is there a separate breakfast room for Diamond ( like on Celebrity ships)? If yes, where is it and is the breakfast menu different from the MDR menu?

2/ Do we have 5:00-7:00PM free drinks (like on Celebrity)?

3/ What about laundry? Discount or a free bag?

4/ In Santorini where it is a tender process, do we get priority tender?

Sorry about the questions but we just got off the Celebrity Millenium and the perks were not the same so I just want to be sure what or how different they are on RCL Jewel.

We will be in Palma de Mallorca from 8:00-6:00. We want to take it relax and just go to the beach.

Is Illetas the closest beach from the port?

What is the port called, PortoPi?

Will there be plenty of taxi at the port to take us to the beach?

How much should the taxi fare be?

Since we are quite a big group, we were planning to take more than one taxi and not take the bus.

You can go to the beaches.

The one with the most amenities ( restaurants, chairs, umbrellas) is Kouroutas. It's approx, 20km away.

The cruiseline offers trasnfer to the beach or you can just take a taxi.

I read somewhere that it should be around 70 euros round trip ( 4 persons).

We were in Villefranche and Marseilles July 2014 and July 2015.

We booked both year with Provence Connection.

The first year, we went to Cassis. We formed a group of 5 wiith 2 other people from our roll call.

The 2nd year, we went to Monaco and Villa Ephrussi Rothschild.

Beautiful place with lots of photos op.

The company is very reliable. Very quick with their reply too. I would use them again if we ever come back.

We just docked at Laem Chabang the port gate wasn't far in a straight line but you have to walk around the perimeter of the shipping containers but still took less than 10 minutes. When we came back they let the driver in although he didn't have the official permit.
