  1. Either way, it won't be the end of the world. It'll put us off booking again but we'll still go and enjoy it 😊 thank you! Not long now!
  2. Oh wow, that sounds amazing but certainly out of our budget 😂.... If you're talking about getting the last train back to the boat and grabbing a big Mac on the way then possibly 😂 although I do love the sound of it! The TA tried to sell it as Florence and Pisa which I thought was strange. We visited Santa Margherita last year and L-O-V-E-D it so possibly a return to there!
  3. I wouldn't smuggle them on, P&O allow it 😊. I just wasn't sure what was the done thing so just wanted clarity. I also tried to buy the drinks package several times and had a huge amount of hassle... If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't even be asking.
  4. TA advertising it to us as Florence and Pisa.... We've done Livorno before but this seems further away from Florence and Pisa. Thankfully we'd have the overnight but it seems a long round trip to Florence!
  5. Thank you! And...only for consumption in your room or were they happy for you to walk into bars/main dining room with a wine glass? Thank you again!
  6. Hi all, Considering Constellation for September this year. Where abouts in Cinque Terre does the boat port? Is it a tender? Thanks!
  7. Hello! Just doing a wee check - understand that P&O say you can take onboard a certain amount of drinks. I'm on Azura next week. Would be keen to take on a few cans of beer and soft drink as well as possibly 2/3 bottles of wine. How strict are they are with what you can bring on/how much you can bring on? Thanks!
  8. Ah amazing - we've booked a hotel at Gatwick now but very handy for you to be able to change!
  9. Hello! I'm wondering if anyone has 7 days of up to date menus of the MDR on Azura? Just want to show my wife so she can decide what night to look at speciality 😱
  10. When do you go Waggie? We were told all London flights are from Gatwick for the winter season to Canaries 😱
  11. Brilliant thank you! We'll need to work it round our 6 month old sleep schedule 😬 but apart from that, that sounds great!
  12. Any issue getting a table at Glasshouse? Alot of people saying there's no way you're getting a table unless you're on a 14 night cruise and book for the 2nd week during the first week?
  13. Is Sindhu not pay per item any more? Sorry, if you're able to give prices it would be great, it's still showing on the sample menu as pay per item for my cruise in 2 weeks. Thanks!
  14. Thank you - I understand people mentioning the deck plan and that they've never had this issue...I've never seen anything like it either but the information from P&O is coming directly from their "Senior Guest Support Representative" from the "Office of Paul Ludlow CEO" so I can only hope that the person is senior enough to know? And she is in direct contact with head of housekeeping onboard Azura. It all just seems strange. I put the point to them that for a company who are actively trying to promote their image as family friendly where in the past it's maybe been slightly more mature in their clientele base, they're not making a great impression on families. Their response was the newer ships are made for families 🤷‍♂️ which I get - but don't advertise your company as family friendly and then give families the hassle that we've had. Very odd. I am still hopeful of: A) a resolution before we go (doubtful given we travel in 2 weeks and been told not to expect any major response over Christmas and New Year. B) a resolution on the ship like everyone has suggested where it just gets done.
  15. For those that have been following...since September I've been trying to change my twin beds on Azura to Queen. I've been told it's been fixed, it's not been fixed, I can sort it on board and no way will they do it on board as it's a fire hazard (ALL of this info has came directly from P&O). Long story short...I have been told today that Azura has some fixed twin beds due to fire regulations and it just so happens I'm in one of those rooms. Can anyone confirm/deny this? We're in an outside cabin. Can't believe the hassle! Thanks!
  16. For medical emergencies you phoned AXA directly, in the UK, 24/7 so I think that part is ok hopefully. Thanks folks...just shows the difference in prices, crazy!
  17. If it was ports that I was desperate to see them definitely but the Azura is more just to get away...if we miss Fuerteventura it's not the end of the world 👌
  18. Most of the time I book insurance at the airport.... this is early for me!
  19. Agreed... the rest is mainly compensation for unfortunate events that on the whole, are first world problems. These 2 are absolutely imperative.
  20. If this isn't allowed please shout and I'll remove. I'm on Azura in 2 weeks time and was just sorting my travel insurance. Found a wee note on a website about coverwise. Got a quote (they say all their policies cover cruises) for £16 for me, my wife and my 6 month old for the week. Seemed very good...I was expecting at least £30-40. Anyone got any experience with them?
  21. Hi all, Does anyone have the daily planners from Azura recently? Just interested to see what's on ☺️ I can't be the only sad person who keeps hold of all of these
