  1. PS I can also understand the concerns with neighbourhood cabins. They may appeal to some but I can't understand them at all, same price as seaview (pretty much) with no privacy
  2. 😂 We're used to big..we've done NCL Epic, Oasis and Symphony OTS and MSC Seaview which are all fairly big. Azura will be a big surprise!
  3. My biggest surprise out of your post is that you hated Oasis OTS 😱 I love Oasis class ships 😂. 4 weeks til I'm onboard Azura
  4. Thanks Raino - spotted some when you travelled with a 2 year old (although I think that may be braver than travelling with a 9 month old!). Did you travel when they were younger? Sorry, can I ask a couple of questions if that's ok? Did MSC provide steriliser/cot/hot water when required etc? Did they offer baby food at all? Lastly, the baby club - you attend this with your baby is that right? Sorry just double checking as P&O offer free childcare so just wanted to make sure.
  5. I just want to double check.... Some cruises charge more than double for single occupancy. If it were the case that you can check in separately, would people not just be booking a room for 2 and just saying the other person didn't make it?
  6. Hello! Sorry, it's Azura and from Tenerife for the P&O one 👌
  7. Hello all, I'm thinking of booking a cruise with my wife and baby (9 months at time of cruise). We're already doing a P&O cruise in January (when he'll be 6 months) and just wanted to see what MSC offer. To put it into context we've had alot of trouble with P&O HOWEVER, their actual set up is very good. They offer: Cots and sterilisers in your cabin Received an order form for all the baby food jars I wanted (included in cruise fare) Night nursery (8 hours of free baby care each night from 6pm-2am) Outwith baby jars, they also have offered any food in the MDR can be mashed/blended for him. What are MSC like? Thanks!
  8. We can get MSC in April for <£700 for the 3 of us (plus flights and hotels) so might just go for that 👌 keep summer at home
  9. Yeah, my only other time off is March/early April and I'm trying to decide whether to take the risk with the weather!
  10. Wee bit late for Scottish school holidays but a good deal 👌
  11. For the summer holidays? 😱
  12. Just out of interest, does anyone know the Christmas decorations go up and come down? I'm on Azura on 5th Jan, just wondering!
  13. We're getting away in January so it's not the end of the world. Just miss my wee fix of Barcelona....and have never been to Croatia/Greece so was hoping to do either East or West Med but beggars can't be choosers!
  14. Completely agree ...I was thinking "man these cruises are expensive, best check out hotels".... Checked hotels and realised that I'm actually far better to stick with cruising 😂.
  15. Might need to let the moths out the wallet soon!
  16. Hello all! This might not be P&O specific so feel free to delete. Just wondering everyone's thoughts on summer 2024 prices. I'm stuck with school holidays but I normally budget £50-80pppn (or around £120pppn inc. flights), at the moment it's hard to find any 7 night med cruises for under £100pppn. Anyone got any thoughts on pricing and whether you think it'll come down or go up? I'm hoping maybe 3-4 months beforehand we might see some price drops!
  17. https://youtu.be/t831jUj4vYw Found this ....think our room will be the same...
  18. You're right, having to make their money back! Oh well, we will see what the future has in store. A balance between value and quality is needed 👌 been quite a while since I done a beach holiday so here's hoping cruising keeps offering good value... although I'm not sure what I'd do with all the space in a hotel room now that I'm used to an interior cruise cabin!
  19. You can't win 😂 I got Symphony last Easter for £460pp for 7 nights (nothing included) although got non-alc for £14/nt which I was happy with. Bearing in mind that was still COVID times (testing before going on, limited timings for some bars, no Hairspray but all other shows were on). Don't think COVID pricing will return to RCL any time soon!
  20. I do love a deal... 7 nights drinks on RCL would set you back £480pp now!
  21. I got my 7 night Jan 24 cruise, with flights for £967 for 3 of us when I minus the OBC.... I don't think I could get 3 flights with 3 suitcases for that so think that's value. Interestingly, since 2010, my idea of budget has seriously decreased for no real reason. I only noticed this when I thought I got a bargain on NCL Epic in 2017 when I got 7 nights for £1800 for 2, not including flights etc and now I'm looking for <£1,000 for 3 including flights 😂 think I need to have a word with myself.
  22. Perfect thank you.... Is that on the day you want the booking for? (I.e. pop down in the afternoon to request it?)
  23. We've got OBC to use and was hoping to use it for dinner in glasshouse but sounds like it's hard to get a table? Can you pre-book using OBC? Even on day 1 of the cruise?
