  1. It is not showing any change in the app, those options are just in the MDR. All this is making it even easier to contemplate cancelling our 2025 Japan cruise on Millennium, as this isn't the cruise line it was when we made the reservation...
  2. There are often tours available on the departure day which will drop you off at the airport at the end of the tour, that can use up four or five hours typically.
  3. That's a valid point if you are trying to fit a lot of things into your cruise, we were just relaxing so it didn't really bother us.
  4. We were on Divina a week ago, and loved the YC experience. Service was impeccable, and we viewed the walk to the restaurant as a vital part of our daily exercise. Cleanliness seemed to be perfect as well, no issues. Enjoyed it so much we are booked to be back onboard in February...
  5. ... was about to say the same thing... Celebrity isn't very good with late night dining options... Craft Social does have bar snacks until 10:30pm, for an additional charge...
  6. ... and there are of course plenty of other bars happy to serve whatever they have in stock, it is just that this particular one has a very narrow range of stock and is limited by the conditions of the brand licence to only make the 'approved' cocktails. You may find some flexibility with some staff on some sailings but if they are sticking to the rules they have to say 'no' as they are not a generic cocktail bar.
  7. ... and it looks like they changed again more recently unfortunately...
  8. Unfortunately the places in the FAQ where the 2 bottles per person was to be found seem to have been 'corrected' back to 1 per person... so it was 2 each for a while but has now changed back to 1 again...
  9. There is a high probability that your boarding time will change several times before you sail and it will get much earlier. I very much doubt it will be as late as 5pm as they will want to have you onboard and completing the safety video etc. well before then.
  10. You have to check for the specific ship you are on as they are all a little different...
  11. ... as long as they are not considered to be 'signature' venues...
  12. Celebrity reps are answering the general question 'Can I disembark before the end of the cruise' - and yes it is possible if you get approval. They are not giving you approval at this point, you have to fill out the form, pay the fee and then you will be told 'no'. Others here are trying to save you the $65...
  13. We had a great time on the Eclipse in January this year and I'm sure she did not suddenly get dilapidated right after we left... We made the World Class bar our base and never waited for service there as both of the bartenders were excellent. The Martini bar can always be a bit of a battle, but even there you will find there are times when it clears. If you go with the intention to have a great time I'm sure that is what you will have, if you go looking for things to complain about then I imagine you will find what you are looking for...
  14. Now one bottle per person of legal drinking age in the cabin, rather than 2 per cabin, so it could be one for a solo passenger or more than 2 if there were more than 2 passengers of the right age in the cabin...
  15. That is disappointing, I've always been lucky with poached eggs both in Luminae and the MDR. I wouldn't want smoked bacon either, so would be similarly avoiding that, and the sausage error is irritating but forgivable as they did have both available, all too often it is just tiny 'chicken' sausages that really don't hit the mark...
  16. Disappointing to see the fake-meat options from a vegan/vegetarian perspective, but a great option for those just seeking a plant-based diet.
  17. Finally found one of our cabin photos from the Millennium... That is one of their small squared appetizer plates with the shrimp...
  18. In our opinion, no, we vetoed in-room dining after seeing the tables. One person could eat at the larger white table, the other could use the desk, although it is not very deep, but not easy to eat together... It didn't spoil our cruise, we don't tend to eat in the suite much if at all, but if we were people that liked to do that frequently I would say it would be uncomfortable at best...
  19. I've just checked one of the more recent review videos... Looks like they have switched the tables around on at least some of the balconies... This one was outside on our balcony... This one was inside next to the couch... Large enough for glasses and something to share, not big enough to set up for two to eat from normally. Also when positioned inside the cabin you have only one chair of appropriate height to make use of it...
  20. We just had the normal straight and thin balcony on Millennium and the table was a fraction of the size of the one in your photo... We were onboard right after the Revolution, so it is possible they did something about the tiny table ...
  21. ... and how comfortable they are with going 'off piste' as they are a franchise like LPC, and supposed to stick strictly to the menu which means they have very limited ingredients to work with. They do carry some extra items to cover the cocktails in So5 which can help.
  22. On a 'Revolutionized' M class ship I wouldn't give up the Retreat easily, as there is of course no World Class bar, no Murano, and Tuscan is in a poor location compared to 'S' class, but the Retreat sun-deck, the Retreat itself and Luminae go a long way to make up for that. The Sky Suite is poorly designed and furnished, but we managed to make it work for 12 nights, and our two large suitcases easily went under the bed.
  23. They will not mix other cocktails, but you can usually get straight shots of the top-shelf brands they stock. Do check prices first to avoid sticker shock 🙂
  24. Probably because she is currently sailing out of Southampton, I wouldn't expect to see that elsewhere. Out of curiosity, what are they listing on the card... ?
