  1. Just off Eclipse last week, and they routinely had ‘Sushi on 5’ set up with menus and staff for al Bacio during the busy periods, so we never had a problem finding a seat or getting served.
  2. We were on Eclipse last week and experienced no shortages in the ‘Premium’ offerings. It was a different story a year ago on Silhouette, but they do seem to have ironed out the supply issues, and similarly, the staffing issues.
  3. The presentation of ‘named’ steaks across the restaurants does seem to end up as ‘round & flat’ regardless of what they call it. Suffered this in Tuscan as well.
  4. The pattern of sea/port days follows the current cruise, so is often not aligned with you specific future cruise.
  5. On our recent Eclipse cruise, anyone wanting to take a beach towel ashore was asked to collect one from the pool. (New Zealand, not Caribbean)
  6. I agree, I think they trip over their own feet too often with their current pricing methodologies.
  7. I’ve been following that thread, and yes, it is possible this one was also a mistake, but easier for them to swallow $400 or so ‘loss’ on the AI, than it was to have their entire suite inventory get booked at a fraction of the real price, so I’m not expecting any attempt to claw this one back.
  8. Interesting to note that on our 2025 cruise booked 2 weeks ago we were only paying $45 / day for AI, which made the choice easy. Checked prices today and it is now $80 / day…
  9. Our first Tuscan reservation last week was disappointing as well, service was fine, but the food extremely poor. So bad that the Maitre D’ requested a chance to show they could do better another night, and to their credit they did deliver a vastly improved experience on the second occasion. Murano was the opposite for us, the food as always, perfect, the service just lacked all of the usual engagement. With our second and third reservations, with the same waiter for all 3 occasions, being asked by him, if we had even dined in Murano before… That was far from the standard we would expect there.
  10. Affogato is no longer on the menu. You may get lucky if you ask anyway…
  11. As a minimum I would have requested a move to a different table and tell the Maitre D’ why. That puts the choice in their hands, deal with the problem or relocate your table. Saying nothing and complaining later just ensures that nothing is done. I never rely on the psychic abilities of the crew to determine my state of mind.
  12. The app only ever reflects the current cruise, until you board, then if you are lucky it may be accurate for your cruise.
  13. …do not depend on Celebrity calling or emailing to remind you to make the final payment….
  14. It is not unusual, as long as it is on the guest copy of your invoice it will only take a few mins to sort out onboard if it doesn’t show up on your card onboard.
  15. No, they do not sell cases of water. There will be a couple of bottles in your room as part of the minibar service, they are clearly marked as incurring a cost if used. Otherwise, you can buy water in most of the bars, and the coffee locations.
  16. We were on the previous sailing out of Sydney, that ended in Auckland. A photo of the negative test was enough, but they were checking the original date/time of the photos.
  17. Best not to do that, as mentioned above, the onboard plumbing and waste processing isn’t able to handle more luxurious options…
  18. Gratuities is the one they usually get wrong, as they often add the liability before they apply any inclusive packages, so it looks like they are owed, until the bundled elements of AI are unbundled…
  19. We have had this in the past when adding 'Elevate' or 'Indulge' and then the Xpress Pass doesn't reflect the change. Each time the key cards onboard have correctly reflected the upgrade. Just make sure you have a copy of your final invoice with you just in case you need to prove it, but in our experience it will be fine once you get the key cards.
  20. Same here... we noticed no perceptible difference in the service, but got extra points so it really seemed an easy choice...
  21. You should get an email with a link a week before your cruise. Our email for our cruise on 2nd Jan just arrived today...
  22. That needs a little interpretation though, the UK version of the 'Best Price Guarantee' just promises that you got the cruise at the best price for that day, if you noticed it cheaper somewhere else right after you made the booking direct with Celebrity... "Please note that proof of the lower fare must be emailed to your Personal Cruise Concierge on the same day the booking is made for the price match to be applied." https://www.celebritycruises.com/gb/company/customer-support/our-price-promise
  23. I had the same experience on Silhouette last year, could order it in the MDR, but Oceanview did not have it available.
