  1. 750 ML Bottles No corkage fee in room even without drink package We usually pour a REALLY large glass in our room and bring the glass to dinner. Stateroom attendant brings us clean glasses. Or champaigne glasses and ice for a sail away toast on our balcony.
  2. I was just pointing that out in case someone looked at the cruise history and thought they were shorted
  3. my cruise history it shows up as 1 point ans 2 points but the actual points I have are the right amount. I called at one poing several years ago and they confirmed that with me. So it looks wrong in the cruise history.
  4. mine looks wrong with the original points showing but when added up the total I had is the new amount of points
  5. Thank you for this info, I have saved it. Do you have a reccomendation for a cocktail or beer and tapas with a nice view? Near the port or along the hop on hop off route?
  6. See what your group wants to do. We always do fixed dining with a group. That's why we like cruises for traveling with others - everyone does their thing during the day, maybe together, maybe not. Then we all meet up for cocktails, dinner and evening entertainment. No big deal if one couple decides to do specialty dining one night or eat at the buffet, just make sure the others know so they are not waiting to order. No having to make reservations each day or having to wait for a table.
  7. book early. We booked aqua for October TA over a year ago and what we paid is what an inside all included is currently going for. The aqua is currently 2 1/2 x what we paid.
  8. Different Departments. Makes sense they are trying to sell Shore Excursions and dining packages with ships still not full.
  9. "If age, state of residency, military, or fire/police participation cannot be validated" You could have received any one of those four rates
  10. That's what I was hoping to find out from the recent travelers. According to their web page it picks up there - that's where the map cam from. But, someone said they were not stopping there earlier this year.
  11. the Molo del Bicchiere pick up only stop below. Is the shuttle still stopping there?
  12. what about walking to the shuttle stop near the fort gate to the port?
  13. We are staying near the Cathedral which is very close to the gate near the fort (and McDonalds). We will only have carry ons and small backpacks. Do you still reccomend not walking into where the shuttle stops? We are on Celebrity but not sure where exactly they dock.
  14. Check the FAQ page there are very specific requirements for the COR. Below is part of it A Certificate of Recovery must meet the following requirements: Be on official letterhead from a healthcare provider, public health official or telehealth provider showing: The Provider’s name The Provider’s address The Provider’s phone number Confirmation of your recovery and completion of isolation Be typed (not handwritten) and signed by the provide Date of validity must extend throughout the duration of your cruise Include a positive result document for a COVID-19 test, either PCR or Antigen test, taken a minimum of 11 days and a maximum of 90 days before the departure date of your U.S. cruise; or, a minimum of 11 days and a maximum of 180 days for European and Australia/New Zealand sailings.
  15. Like others said I would need to know more of what you are looking for in your cruise as far as ports are concerned. They are not party boats if that is what you are worried about. There is another cruise line out of LA doing short cruises that are a whole different crowd than Celebrity or Royal out of LA. We have done 3 on royal since restart because they make a nice getaway last minute at a good price since we can drive to the port, the cruisers have always been pleasant and friendly. That said personally I enjoy caribbean ports more than Mexican Riveria and our Mexico cruises are more about the getaway and the cruise than the ports. But, if you are looking to visit California I would deffinatly add on a Celebrity or Royal cruise.
  16. That works we have 6 sea days, Nassau, sea day at the end.
  17. Can I upgrade my drink package in the middle of my TA? I may be worth upgrading after the port days and once we know if the good choices are even on board.
  18. Google maps does a good job of getting you there with the address above. You can also follow the signs for the USS Iowa off the freeway.
  19. Why Soller? I see a lot of comments about going there for a short visit. This is our first time in Spain, what is in Soller to see or do?
  20. We are doing this for the first time but not because of the airline issue. We will be doing 3 weeks in Italy in 5 cities before the cruise and we didn't want to deal with big bags on trains, cobblestones and stairs. It seems the key is everything mix n match, cruise dinner clothes all use the same shoes and wash some things in the sink or shower. We booked Airbnb's half way thru the trip and the last night before boardig with washing machines and will send our dinner clothes to be pressed when we board the ship. After overpacking for many cruises I realized I mostly wore my black dress pants with 3 tops and 1 dress. Not repeating outfits on a cruise dinner is pretty far down the list of priorities for my vacation. My husband will be in Dockers and golf or hawaiian shirts. We have never doen this planned before but we did end up in Quebec for 2 weeks with only the carryon. We had to buy clothes and made due with much less than we had originally packed.
  21. I called mid morning today pacific time and was caught off guard they answered so fast. You just never know what their staffing and call volume is day to day.
  22. When I called in the past it was the vendors policy and Celebrity told me if the vendor OK'd it they would. This was for a snorkle trip and it was about having to help people up and down a ladder. In my case it was a weight limit my 6ft 5 18 year old didn't meet, they OK'd it. Call shorex and see who set the policy and why.
  23. It's 1 pt per $, double on Royal/Celebrity purchases. 5000 pts get's you $50. so your 3% on everything is better than this card. It's the same value weather redeeming for OBC or cruise fare. I'm not sure what the value works out to for the cabin upgrade or 2nd passanger fare.
  24. Exactly, they forwarded it after you were in contact with them. I would assume most people go straight to the missing bag office at baggage claim. When you fill out the report you tell them what you want done with it. They are not going to find a bag someplace and just send it to a ship, possibly in another state or country without a report even if there is a ship tag on it.
