  1. That's exactly what I said above. They say in the email that they exhausted all other options, yet I am on the 10/24/23 sailing and was not contacted at all.
  2. Another issue I see with this is the limited suggested lift and shift dates. There are plenty of dates with all categories available all summer they should be allowing for any open Japan sailing.
  3. You might want to read the whole thread, this impacts different sailings and so far only certain bookings.
  4. It is interesting in the email the statement "we have exhausted every possible option to avoid having to take this action"?? I am on the 10/24/23 sailing and never heard anything. Why didn't they first contact all guest and see if anyone would like to take them up on the Lift & Shift option?

  6. Normally I try to book all my specialty dining prior to sailing but did not this time. Is it possible to book all restaurants at 1 location the day of boarding? TY.

  8. I booked a fully comped room and added the all inclusive. 3 days later I did get a move up offer. The offers might be triggered based on any amount over the taxes/fees.

  10. So I booked a comped Aqua class 4 days ago and all I did was add the all inclusive package to the booking for the drinks/tips/wifi. I got a move up offer yesterday. I think the move up may be looking at any amount over the taxes to determine move up offers?
  11. You should probably leave your specialty restaurant bookings and get them refunded once on board. That way you still have your day and time reserved. Also you should be contacted by the Suite host before the cruise and they can also take care of that.

  17. I thought it was very obvious that they were pre-owned. A lot of them you can see the wear and tear. Not sure about the comment about seeing this in port and not on a ship, these are not fakes they are just pre-owned.
  18. There are so many things that are impacting this. A big issue is everyone trying to get their required work visa's from each of the different countries. Every country has been impacted by this and all are very behind in basically everything. This worker shortage is no different than the major chip shortage the automotive industry has been facing for the past year, or the shortage of so many other things. To just assume they are doing this to cut costs is pretty sad. Is that what you think of all of your local businesses who are having the same issue?
