  1. Glad you enjoyed your cruise, did you venture into the updated venues such as The Catch by Rudi or O'Malley's Irish Pub? I've just seen on a recent vlog that they don't have Guinness on tap in O'Malley's *gasp* but would be interested in your views.
  2. As per this Princess press release, the April 15 dry dock for Enchanted Princess meant that: "The Catch by Rudi replaces Bistro Sur la Mer and is expected to make a tremendous splash given the menu that will appeal to both seafood aficionados and guests who simply prefer some great “surf and turf. " This is the menu for Catch by Rudi, for info:
  3. I am partial to some onion rings and just seen the O'nion Stack on the Princess O'Malley's video. : Oh my, I don't mind paying $5 if that's how they look!. Unfortunately only available on Enchanted Princess currently but will be featuring on the new Sphere class ships.
  4. Here are the standard Sanctuary menus:
  5. With a new build - there is always the risk of the unknown though. You can certainly follow the standard cabin selection rules of avoiding those above/below/near public spaces or crew areas but there are always the odd gotchas (like soot on the Aft Royal-class balconies or being totally overlooked from above). I'm intrigued about: - the different balconies on the dome - what makes some premium and some not - if anyone has a good wake view apart from the accessible deluxe balconies - which balconies overlook the sea directly rather than decks, other balconies or will you be standing with your nose up against a high glass balcony - are those premium deluxe balconies that look back on the standard balconies worth having - any drawbacks from having a cove balcony so close to the sea - what do you get to do in your extra cabana space...just recline on the sofa - and yes, what is it like being stared at on your "balcony" by other cabana guests from the deck 😀
  6. Actually, Princess did have a different rendering for O'Malley's Irish Pub on Sun Princess on display at the Southampton event and it has Guinness on the tables! (excuse the real plant leaf creeping in at the corner, lol):
  7. Not seen anything else on Sun Princess other than the 2025 itineraries being announced last Friday at the Star Princess naming launch event in Southampton which I attended. Not to namedrop, but I had a quick chat with John Padgett who said he had come directly from the shipyard so hopefully there will be some more official news released on the build progress since it's been 2 months since the last PR update.
  8. Yes, that was summarised earlier in this thread in post #93
  9. I wondered why Majestic Princess was doing a repo TA to Boston in July 2025 - maybe she will be covering these Emerald itineraries the following year?
  10. So orange, C1 which have direct access to the Cabana Deck and purple, C2, which should have balcony glass directly looking down to the sea. But both will have higher glass than standard balcony glass according to the rendering.
  11. The new Sun Princess rendering does seem to show high glass all along deck 9. I think this is where some of the Cabana rooms will be?
  12. Thank you! Some interesting Mediterranean itineraries with a few new ports. What an interesting time to have a Transatlantic - Majestic doing a repo from Southampton to Boston in July? I know Island Princess is doing one in 2024 but she is going back to the UK afterwards.
  13. Looks like the deck plan also has that walkway on deck 9- the moustache or lip shaped thing on it's side 😀
  14. Yep, we were at the announcement by John Padgett in Southampton. The flashing star pendant handed out beforehand was a bit of a giveaway lol
  15. No, it's up on deck 6 on Sky Princess as per the deck plan. We spent a few nights there in June last year: And down on deck 5 on Enchanted Princess, we were on her twice last year
  16. There are hints that the name of the second Sphere class ship will be announced at the end of next week...
  17. If you mean Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 then they go on sale this week - 25th April (Elite only) and 26th April (public) - see Coral's helpful post
  18. That's correct - Majestic has an indoor pool and no surrounding cabins, Sky, Enchanted and Discovery have a retreat area with surrounding cabins. Majestic has a complimentary Conservatory relaxation area and the others have the fee-paying Sanctuary leading off from the pool.
  19. Ahh I only saw an O'Malley's food menu posted on here. Do you have all the menus? My beer drinker other half is so disappointed - like the Irish are known for their cocktails on tap! 😁
  20. Some nerdy speculation from my other half who is the beer drinker of the household... looking at the O'Malley's rendering and the table at the front on the right - is that a self-serve keg in the middle?
  21. Based on what's been announced so far....
  22. The Sea View Terrace, the forward pool on Deck 17, is open to all guests (as per the Princess Sales presentation link on post #119) as is the Wake View Terrace. It looks like the only adults-only pool could be the one on the Signature Sun Deck which is shared by Sanctuary and suite guests. So only free to suite guests. You would need to pay for it otherwise by booking a spot in the Sanctuary.
