Thank you!  I actually talked to a couple of crew members about that on Friday and got different numbers but one said 1500 and the other said 1600 and they’re expecting about the same next cruise, but then expect the numbers to jump up after that one.  I think capacity for S class is around 2800, so we’re just a little over half full.

Thank you so much for your quick response. One more question: Are any of the pools on the ship heated?

    Your dresses are sooooo cute!!!

with the lousy time they are now offering no dinner till 6:45 or later

Agree...6:45 is not a good time for us. Even though early dining time (5:30) seems early, at least we ill be able to see the early shows and have more time for fun in the evenings. For cruises from Nov-Mar. it gets dark early anyway, right?

Terminal A is brand new and the garage is outstanding.   Absolutely park and just take your bags.  You'll ride the elevator down from the parking garage and step out right at check in, no crossing the street or anything.  Look to the left and there should be a porter right there.  If not, just walk to the right a few steps and you'll see porters.  The elevators are right smack in the middle of the drop off area.  Drop off before you actually check in.  The distance to walk with your bags is extremely minimal at Terminal A and if you want, you can even drive up a floor or so extra and just park near the elevator if you prefer.

Prior to COVID, there were porters in the garage that would take the bags out of your trunk prior to parking.  So also consider that this service could make a comeback eventually.  But even without it, the distance to walk with bags is negligible.

yes, thank you for this info! We don't mind walking, but this process sounds super easy!!

Do we need to make a reservation for a parking spot?

Not worth the aggravation for us to save maybe $10 a day. Much different than FLL with Park n Cruise

Is there a parking garage for terminal A or is there a shuttle if we have to use another terminal's parking garage? This is the first time we have driven to POM. Thank you for your help.

Yes, you can do as you are suggesting, but there will be no Porter assistance until you get to the Terminal where your ship is docked.  Trying to drag luggage through the crowds that will be filling the sidewalk and even into the street, at times, was a challenge for me and I just had a carry-on.

I was able to get a Porter to assist me in getting my luggage to my car in Garage G from Terminal F.  I don't know if that is always possible.  I was a MSC Yacht Club guest.  Whether that made any difference or not, I don't know.  I saw no luggage carts for guests to use anywhere at the terminals or the parking garage.

We are cruising on the Symphony of the Seas and I think out of Terminal A. Is there a parking garage for Terminal A? If not, is there a shuttle from the other garages to Terminal A? This is out first time driving to the port.

    Thank you for your help.

Three weeks ago I received my refund of deposit (500.00) for one leg (no idea which one) of cancelled Feb./March Rhapsody cruise RCI cancelled on us.   But not the second (or first?) leg.

    Typical. 😒

Do you or anyone else know if you can still use CWC on a cruise that you have used FCC to pay for? We had a cruise booked in Sept, 2020 but RC cancelled due to Covid. We L & S it to Sept. 21. But with the Delta variant, etc. we cancelled and are to receive FCC. If we book a  Jan., 2022 cruise before 10/31/21, can we still use CWC for this Jan. cruise?

Thank you for your help....it saves me waiting for hours on the phone with RC.

We were on Symphony doing BTB and last week had to leave ship and go thru immigration in port terminal .  Wait in baggage claim area for an hour to get all the same paperwork rechecked from the previous week before finally getting back to the terminal waiting area for another hour wait.  We started off in main dining room at 9:00 am and finally back on board at 1:00 pm.  There were about 50 of us.  We were changing room so had to lug all personal items but bags stayed on board packed.  We had to retest antigen the day prior.  All aboard already knew they were good to go.   This worked reasonably well and why the change beyond that makes little sense.  First week we were 1600 passengers and week two down around 1200.  Crew is 70% filled and all aboard 12 and older are vaccinated.   Those under 12 are still the issue.
Crew is board stiff and you will get tired of being asked if there is anything I can do.  Main dining room you can hardly eat with so many stoping by to check on you.  Specialty restaurants are nearly empty and same line of questions will nearly ruin your experience.  It’s like going to a party that no one came to.  It’s no party and rather a bore wherever you go.

Thank you. Is the CVS test free?

is the antigen test the quick result and the one that isn’t up to the brain?
