  1. Mike Moore fixed my account. He was most helpful. Thank you Regent for having such a kind responsive person on your staff. I can now see my latest added cruise when we hopefully, finally become titanium.
  2. Gcto, thanks for the information. I will look into it.
  3. Thank you for this information. We were wondering about this. It would have been helpful and expected that Regent would have provided this info. They usually are on top of this kind of thing. Sounds like they could benefit from a new port rep
  4. Gcto, thanks for the car info. , Do you have the names of the car services that might get us there? Have lived in LA most of my life but this is a new twist.
  5. Mike, I was hoping you would see my plea for help. I didn’t know how to find you. I am sending you an email now.
  6. I did try rebooting with no success. I just tried sending an inquiry to Regent. We shall see what that produces.
  7. I need some help with my Regent account. I am trying to add a new cruise to my account. It appears frozen on my current cruise. I tried calling Regent customer service but the person said she was unable to help. This has never happened before.. Is there someone else to contact?
  8. The admin fee of $100 for each of us was deducted from the deposit credited back to our credit card. The FCC is deducted from the total cost of the cruise and disappears if you don’t take the cruise. It used to get banked in our Regent account but I am not sure that happens anymore. Thanks for the info about what is on the website. Next time I talk to the TA I will ask her for clarification just so I know what the current policy is.
  9. I never thought about that aspect. Ronrick. You are correct. That is why things sometimes open up after final pay. By then we probably would have made other plans that were not our first choice.
  10. The problem I am finding is that the cruises close in that I am interested in all appear heavily booked. At this stage of life booking 2024 and 2025 requires a very optimistic outlook health wise. Maybe I am just a “nervous Nellie”. ( no offense to anyone named Nellie).
  11. Flossie, your penalty structure would have me think twice before bringing out the credit card.
  12. Papa flamingo there was $400FCC on the booking that I knew we would lose. $200 for me and $200 for my husband. This was $100 each straight off the deposit. It was new to me in all my years with Regent. While it is not a major event, it always felt good to take a chance on a cruise with no penalty.
  13. We just needed to cancel a cruise before final pay and I notice a new penalty. In the past the $100 withheld per person was always a future cruise credit to be used on another Regent cruise. It no longer is FCC. Instead it is a penalty although they call it by another name on the invoice. I guess this may help people think twice before starting a booking. Of course $100 is a drop in the bucket in less you are extra frugal. I am curious as to when this change took place. We go back to Song of Flower and I was fond of the easy commitment.
  14. Steve, Deanna and Kim are the best!! Just helped us finally get payment on a large claim we started in March for a trip cancelled because of sudden hospitalization. I would not get our trip insurance anywhere else but with them.
  15. The time can vary but we did get every cent back. It took awhile. I knew our TA would watch out for us. l
  16. Completely agree about Steve at Trip Insurance Store. They even help us with filling a claim.
