Yes we could both be on another magical mystery tour. 4 of our 6 ports are all on the east coast of the north island.

We are there on Quantum on the 20th of March. I can't see why they wouldn't go there still as I don't think the waterfront was destroyed. Now if you have a tour booked that could be a problem.

We are about to do our 3rd cruise out of the new Port in Brisbane, haven't noticed the smell on embarkation maybe to excited but have crossing the car park on return. Yes Rcl are having trouble filling the ship but there are 3 other ships all doing similar itinerarys to compete with, And a lot of people just aren't willing to cruise yet because of covid fears. Princess in Melbourne has had trouble filling their ship, their cruises have been a bargain over summer so doubt they could fill Quantum. What they should do is multi port embarkation especially for southern itinerarys.

Hello, I have booked my time dining on RC for the NZ cruise , I don't remember being given a choice of dining room & can't see that I have to be at one or the other.

About what time frame out do they offer the bid to upgrade? Do you need to sign up to get upgrade offers? We have a virtual balcony on Quantum for March so any help with this would be appreciated.

Coral Princess left Brisbane Monday for NZ so they could be in for some rough weather as well.

I just had a look at the website & can't see those prices. Also I didn't know you would have join their club, usually I just opt out when booking with them.

I read elsewhere that they are only going to Noumea now...now that's something to look forward to😄

I agree with you about heading north in summer. South east Queensland the last couple of weeks has been more then I can handle.

We have Bay of Islands on our itinerary in March on Quantum I wonder if it has a dirty butt & won't be allowed in, we don't have the fiords.

Maybe they'll divert & go south instead, that's what I'd be hoping if I was cruising tomorrow.

Sound's bloody awful. We caught it on a Blue lagoon cruise in fiji last year, we did feel very unwell but nothing like your symptoms. We have cruised twice since & have another next month, fingers crossed we don't get it again.

That sounds like a great plan.

I don't use the water bottle by sucking on the top. The water is filtered through the top but I just squeeze it into a plastic water bottle that I then carry around wherever with me & keep the brita bottle in my cabin refilled for when needed. I also have the jug for at home. I think this for a long cruise would be a great option, just fill it with undies & sock in your suitcase😁 It really isn't that heavy when empty & once it's in your cabin happy gut happy you.

Your cruise sound's lovely. We have it booked for January next year but it includes Eden as well. I also have trouble with the water, I bought myself a Brita water bottle for $16 at woolworths & just decant into a plastic drink bottle, or into several bottles & keep them in the fridge for the day.

Well if you think your cruise is going to be crap your expectations can't go any lower. Just imagine how good it's going to be when it's much better then your friends said & you're having a good time. Do your best being covid safe even if others aren't. Good luck🙂

We never bothered downloading it & never had a problem boarding p&o There's no excuse for not knowing you need to be vaccinated, its one of the first questions you need to answer checking in online with P&O, Rcl & Princess.

I think it might help if there were some different itineraries between the ships but they are all doing very similar. Hopefully that improves in the future...wishful thinking I know.

I think Brisbane is struggling to fill cruise ships at the moment because we have 4 ships running out of there & so many people still don't have the confidence yet to cruise...unless they are die-hard cruisers like us on here.

I'm a member already. I gave the info on Blue lagoon cruises. It's a good site love all the food photos especially on Rcl as that is our next cruise.

I'm also strictly gluten free. How good were those gf muffins😍 Also the mossaman beef curry in Dragon Lady, we went back twice for that. Are some of you food pics from Luke's? Maybe I need to try that next time.
