I just made a reservation at Trulucks ( Miami) for an early dinner ( 4 0'clock) the night before our cruise. The web site says the dress is upscale. Will my DH require a jacket and tie? We will be staying at the Intercontinental will the restaurant be a comfortable walking distance ?

Yes, I am wondering the exact same thing. Wish we could fine out if incentive group will be on our cruise in May on the Splendor.

I really appreciate all the input for a restaurant near the Hotel Intercontinental. It looks like we have some wonderful choices so it will be difficult to choose one, but choose we must! Thanks again!

Looking for suggestions for a good restaurant either in the Hotel Intercontinental ( Miami) or within walking distance of the hotel for our one night pre cruise stay. We pretty much like just about any food although not keen on really spicy/ hot food.

So if we were going to be getting a rebate ( of any sort) where would it show up and when? We have only been on one Regent cruise and are booked on two . One is paid in full.

Papa, so these would be available on the Splendor as well I assume. Do you have a guess as to how long they keep water chilled?

We will be on the Splendor in December ( Caribbean) and wonder if laundry service is included. Does it depend on your level ( Bronze, Silver etc)? This will be our second cruise with Regent so we are just Bronze. Thank you

Thank you for all the input. I was able to secure a reservation at Prime 7 for DH big birthday and in addition to that we will be celebrating our anniversary at Pacific Rim, a big month for us!

Gcto, it will be just the two of us. We have only been on one other Regent cruise( 2019 Explorer) and we loved the food in the Pacific Rim. However, based on the opinions of CC cruisers and yours, I am leaning toward Prime 7 for DH's birthday . Will certainly try to get a reservation thought at Pacific Rim for a different night. Tomorrow is the day for us to reserve specialty restaurants. I will be up and at it early as we EST!

We will be on a Splendor cruise in the Caribbean in December. My DH will be celebrating a big birthday while we are on board. I would love any suggestions as to which specialty restaurant might be the best choice for a very special occasion. He enjoys all types of food! Thank you

Lonedaddy, What a wonderful and detailed report on your trip. Thank you for taking all the time to put this in writing and the photos are fantastic. I do have a question about the seas and the weather. I understand the weather in the British Isles is very unpredictable but I keep thinking about your comment “ really looking forward to a warmer weather cruise.” We are booked on a very similar cruise next June but now reconsidering and thinking about a London to Barcelona instead. I have always wanted to visit Ireland but might do a land trip instead. Thoughts?

That makes sense and right now the costs are through the roof. We plan to deviate and hope for the best.
