  1. It's been years since I've been to Chankanaab and I know things have really changed. I can't seem to find a way to book admittance to the park or activities. Does anyone know the website to use? Has anyone done the SeaTrek and/or the Snuba there? Are they in different areas? When you pay the price to do these, does it include the price of admission to the park? SeaTrek: Do they have monuments and things to see under the water? I assume they take pictures of you like the other SeaTrek places do. Anyone know the cost? Is it in a different area than the snorkeling? Are you allowed to bring your own camera's or GoPro? Snuba: Is this done in the snorkeling area with the sculptures? Are you allowed to take your camera or GoPro? TIA
  2. How far out is the snorkeling area? Or is it by the shore? Is there a coral reef or a sandy bottom with spots of snorkeling and fish?
  3. That price does sound like a good one. Do you know where they dive at?
  4. I have this as well. So it's only for the Escape and only for the 16th right? That will be 1 week too late for us to be able to go. 😞 My daughter goes back to school from spring break on the 16th. Boo hiss!
  5. I always had luck with asking in the past...but that was post covid so who knows now. I definitely would give it a shot!
  6. Thanks for all your help. I'm still left a little confused. According to my account on NCL, it says that I have 8 cruise certificates and I'm left scratching my head about them. I know there's no way I bought that many on my last cruise because I had started cruising with other companies at that point. Did they add some during covid? I also see a Your 10% Off Coupon – Latitudes Cruise, Norwegian Escape, April 16th 2023?? What and where did that come from? Is that saying I get an additional 10% off if I cruise only the Escape? I'm left scratching my head at this point.
  7. There's plenty of taxi's or open air buses to take you anywhere you want. Like the previous poster said, it depends on what you are looking for in a beach. So many beautiful beaches there. You can take a look at my travel website and see if any might be what you are looking for. Here's the St Thomas link. We've been many times by cruise ship and we've land vacationed there a few times.
  8. Their official website by the wife (owner) is HERE their official fb is called Little French Key Resort -LFK (not the others which is still under control by the ex husband). You could also reach out to Larissa on there.

  10. Not sure if you've already been or not but the snorkeling spot is in deep water along the way to Gibbs so that's probably why they say that. The stingrays come up at the beach at Gibbs so you won't have to worry about swimming during that part. The island is very pretty.
  11. Grand Turk is easy to get around and you can tour the whole island in very little time with no problem. You'll have plenty of time to stop for a bite to eat or a beach as well.
  12. We did a buggy tour to Jade Caverns. It was so much fun. We drove our own buggy's and went to Jade Caverns and you were able to jump from up top into the cavern, they told history and then we drove to another cavern and then to a little town. It was a great tour. We used Wild Tours for our excursion. If you are interested, I have a travel website with our adventure that day and tons of pictures so you can see the place located HERE.
  13. I agree with ABQrobin. Cozumel is such an easy port to do on your own. Unless you are trying to use up some credit from the ship I would check out what you are interested in doing and see about booking private. It's so easy.
  14. The SeaTrek (or Helmut dive) is definitely fun and interesting and can be done at Chankanaab or Jeanies. I agree with trying Discover Scuba. We went to Sunset and used Sanddollar and had a great experience. You could also look into an ATV/buggy excursion going to Jade Caverns. We used Wild Tours and had a great time driving them and going to the caverns and you can jump into the caverns from high up. My teen loved it. Then there's always parasailing as well. You can check out my travel page for Cozumel and get some ideas and pictures of the places we went. We love Cozumel and have even done a land vacation there. COZUMEL
  15. I have several CruiseNext Certificates that I haven't used and I remember (at times) you would be able to use more than 1 on a single booking. Are they still doing that? If so, how can you tell if a booking will allow you to use more than one? Or are those days long gone now? TIA
  16. Aww that's too bad they didn't have an opening for Helmet but you will have a great time with snuba. Have a good time! 🙂
  17. You're gonna love it. That reef is amazing! The pictures from the snuba were $35 and he took a total of 83 pictures for us. Shhh...he did allow us to take our camera's but he said normally they don't allow it but since we were "experienced" he said he was looking the other way and didn't see us take them in there. LOL When we went on the Helmet dive, they did not allow cameras that time. "For safety reasons" which I can't even imagine. We had an AWESOME time doing the helmet dive. We now do them whenever we are anywhere that has one. They are so much fun and this one in Aruba has been the best so far! They let you interact with things under the water like a table with drinks and you get in a jeep and act like you are riding. It's super cool under there. I don't remember the price of the pictures that time but imagine it was probably about the same as snuba.
  18. They took us around to places and let us spend however long we wanted to. They were awesome! Yes, we didn't feel rushed and had plenty of time.
  19. Yes we did the tour and had a driver and we could customize it any way we wanted. We let the driver just show us around and take us places (because we had never been over to the "Wild Side" before. She knew the stops, would ask us if we wanted to stop and for how long. Then we were taken over to Punta Sur to explore and stay at a beach for lunch. After that tour, we realized just how easy it is to navigate Cozumel so when we went for a land vacation, we of course did it on our own with the rental car and explored even more. It was awesome.
  20. I've watched these party buses go buy when we were eating outside along that area. It looked like a lot of fun. Maybe someday when the munchkin is older and we are without her.
  21. If their party bus is anything like their pirate cruise...woo wee 😁
  22. Oh Ok. So it's the place beside that and has a pool in the middle of the buildings then. Yes, we were able to walk that way when we were there but if they have Islands up and running again, who knows if they have it blocked off or not. We were there in April of last year so sounds like they pulled it together by December. It looked like a pretty piece of property.
  23. Just wondering where this is located? When we were there, if you are standing facing the water...to the left was the big hotel (that was hit by the hurricane last and not rebuilt or being used) and to the right was a run down place that had a pool and was not in business. Would that be Playa Azul? I went back and looked at my review and I believe I came up with a name of Islands Beach Club was the name of that place. Is that the same place/
