We haven't sailed Celebrity in awhile and I just saw there is no soda package anymore? What about water? If not, what's the price of a single soda and water bottle please? I know we can bring some onboard but just wondering. We are sailing the Beyond in Feb 2024. Thanks everybody!

Thank you for your reply. Good to know!

Hi All,
We booked all inclusive and I was wondering if they add 20% for gratuities on our bill or if its already included? We aren't big drinkers and am now wondering if it's worth it. It's a Europe, port intensive cruise. Thanks!

We just returned from a similar cruise...I carried a travelon anti theft crossbody bag and wore comfortable sandals. I carried a hat that could be folded into my purse. Most churches offer shawls to cover your shoulders.

We just returned and stayed at the Santa Chiara and would highly recommend it. Flying into Marco Polo, there's a direct bus to Piazzale Roma which is the square the hotels sits on. Bus cost 7.50 Euro. Great hotel, renovated and clean. Steps away from a bridge taking you onto the main island. Taxi to cruise port is 5 mins away, costs approx 10 Euro.

Not sure what the iconic itinerary is you're talking about, but I just spend three weeks on the Connie in the Med. Ship was fine. Best cabin attendant I've ever had. Ports were awesome. Hotel Director is amazing--she is there to see you off for your day and there again on the dock to welcome you back to the ship. We discovered that they were bringing on local food to the cafe at night and ate most of our meals up there. Some of the best food I've ever had on Celebrity. Who knew?
Oh didn't know that about the local food. We're sailing on the 30th of August! Thanks!

For me, it's both. I love the planning and the anticipation, the cruise itself. And then I scrapbook the pictures. :)

HAL has Montreal departures but they're one ways into Boston. You could reverse your trip and start with the resort. The Couples Resort is appox. 2 hours from Ottawa so you could fly into Ottawa and rent a car to get there. Return with the car to Ottawa and take the train to Montreal to start your cruise.

Sailing on Aug 30 for 9 nights...wondering which nights will be chic. Can anyone tell me or tell me how to find out? thanks :)

Many agencies charge a fee since their commissions were lowered or all together disappeared from certain aspects of the industry some years ago. Airlines no longer pay commission for example, were it use to be 8% on an international ticket.

Thanks so much! I'll be sailing on her at the end of August! Great to read your review!

I see this as a real problem with parents who feel it’s perfectly fine for their kids to roam the ship alone and after curfew at that as long as they don’t bother mom and dad who, after all, are on vacation. Take a little responsibility for your kids. The cruise line is not your personal babysitter. Of course, the two men need to be prosecuted but I fail to see how Royal is responsible.
Couldn't have said it better myself.

At the end of our two week cruise we are ready to leave the ship. Others may feel differently.:)
I agree. For us, after 10 days we are ready to go home but everybody is different. :)

Does the port have any people movers/shuttles (from the waterfront to the main gate/Triton Fountain)? If not, how far is the Barrakka lift from port? Thanks!

Thank you both for your answers. Never thought of trying a regular cooler...I was plugging in 'medical'. Thanks again!

I'm in need of a cooler bag that keep medication between 2c and 8c for 24 hours. Wondering if anyone knows where I can get one? I've called the drug company and they can't help. I have several stops so I need something that I can refreeze and not worry for several hours. Thanks to everyone!

Thank you so much for a fantastic review. Can't wait for my turn in August! :)

Absolutely!!! I love meeting people from other countries, it's always interesting. :)

We flew into FLL and stayed at La Quinta on 26th in Lauderdale...then booked All Stars shuttle service from the hotel to the cruise port. Worked well! Good luck!

Best snorkeling I've ever seen is on Klein Bonaire. Definitely worth it.

I highly recommend a hop on hop off tour, there are 2 different companies that do it. There are several routes and they bring you to numerous attractions. Super easy and reasonably priced...go at your own pace and see what you like. Enjoy!

I do buy new clothes for a cruise...I don't go nuts but I will start wearing them during the cruise and continue using them when I get home...and repeat. We usually do 1 week cruises so this might be a couple of tops and some shorts or a bathing suit. Nothing to break the bank.

I start getting tired of the food by the 8th night...even with all the choices on most ships, it all seems to take on a "sameness", to me. I don't think I'd do any longer than a 10 nighter....
I feel the same way...we did a 14 night and by day 10 we were ready to pack up. We're doing a 9 night this summer and I think that will be perfect.
Water pkg/Soda pkg?

I saw that but I'm wondering how much it would be to buy a single soda at dinner for example?
