  1. We always book with Calabaza in Barbados. Great crew, greats food and drinks, and most of all, great experience! No more than 12 people on the catamaran. Snorkel over a shipwreck and also with turtles. Gina is a great hostess.

    Hi 4spring:)

I only use a weekly pill organizer for vitamins & always bring my meds, narcotics & injectable in their original script bottle/container. However, you can request from your pharmacy, a duplicate print out of your script labels & then place your meds in any container or organizer as you wish. My wife & I have been cruising over 3 decades now, never had an issue, but that doesn't mean an issue won't arise one day, so I approach my medications & traveling with a "When in doubt, don't" attitude..

    Have a terrific voyage!!

    (( PS: ))

I like to use original script labels because they describe the med, any numbers on med, and color of pills.

    :)

I do the same as you...unfortunately almost half my carry on is meds ( some have to be in a cooler bag ) but I feel safest doing it that way. I have been questioned more than once about them by TSA...you just never know.

  3. I don't understand the replies...if someone asks for info about printed brochures, why all the 'why would you' comments? I love printed brochures, too! I ordered one online at least 3 months ago and never received it but got one from a local travel agent.

  4. I love this thread.... ;):D

    Me, too!

On our last cruise, I had a few problems ( I am on steroids and hormones / brain tumour ) and our cabin attendant noticed I was swelled up. Without saying a word she went got me 2 pairs of the slippers they give to suite passengers because my shoes were too tight. So yeah I walked around the ship in my cushy slippers! She also asked everyday how I was and brought me whatever I needed, extra blankets, etc...

  5. Welcome to cruise critic! I am familiar with your issues ( I have the same ).

In Dominica we did river tubing. The transportation is in an air conditioned bus, the walk into the river is pretty easy as is the few stairs to get out. The tubing itself is super easy with helpers all along the way and the water is only about waist deep. After the tubing is done, there's a small snack and a drink for the way back. Excellent day, we had a blast!

  6. Welcome to cruise critic! Given the importance of this honeymoon cruise I would contact the airline ( or whoever you booked your flight through ) and explain the situation. Even if you have to pay a change penalty, IMHO it would be worth it...you want to start the honeymoon relaxed! Congratulations and don't worry, we all make mistakes!
