Finally got in and started a booking....but kept getting errors...called in and done!
-
Cleared my cookies last night and still can't get in....anyone else?
-
We were allowed to drop off our bags but we didn't stay in the room.

We head over the port around 10:00 or 10:30, they usually start boarding around 11-11:30.
When we were on the Summit, we went to our stateroom to drop off our bags and headed over to the buffet which was pretty much empty. No problem at all.
BTW there is a liquor store after security at the port...you can buy wine, liquor and soda there. They will let you keep the wine and soda but will pack up the liquor and deliver it to you on the last night of the cruise.
Enjoy!

We've done the Jewel and the Adventure before but are looking to do the ABCs....hoping we'll like the Freedom...I didn't particularly like the Adventure so for me, in a perfect world, the Jewel would do the ABCs!

We also have swimways we bring...no blowing up, they fold up well and dry off fast as well...their site has a great variety.

Thanks Bob :)

Northeast is scheduled for sometime this week.
Bob, what about 2019 from SJU? ;)

Hi, we booked Nachi Cocom and it was fantastic. Check it out!

Adventure will be banished to New Jersey, to be replaced by Freedom.
Thanks for your quick answer :)

So you will be among the last Adventure cruises out of San Juan- that should be interesting.
Ok I missed something...the Adventure will not longer be based in San Juan? I've been waiting for the 2019 cruises from San Juan to open to book the ABCs...can someone fill me in, please?

Although your question is rather specific, you might want to post it in the disabled forum here:

Good luck!

I've recently started to use them and love them...I place them in the bottom of the suitcase and then put the hard items ( toiletries, shoes, flat iron and then top off everything with beach bags hats etc...super fast to pack as well.

Google is your friend ;)

La Quinta Inn and Suites Airport and Cruiseport...we stayed in Jan and it was cheaper than the others but very good.

We are booked in 3046 on the Constellation...wondering if anyone with experience can tell me if it's quiet? There is nothing across the hall according to the deck plan and Michael's Club is above. Many thanks for your help!

I have read that to get into the caves there are 81 steps...I am wondering if you have to climb out the same way or if the caves are a walk through? My friend has limited mobility...going down is ok but coming back up 81 stairs would be an issue. Thanks for all your help!

It's completely doable. As mentioned in the post above, the train station in Quebec City is near the cruise port. When arriving in Montreal ( book the ticket to the Dorval station ) you'll see a sign for the shuttle to the airport, included in your ticket ( when booking it will prompt you to see if you need a shuttle ticket ) and you'll be at the airport in less than 10 minutes. The Dorval station is small so there isn't much walking and there's a bench to sit while you wait, shuttles go every 10 minutes or so. And they will all speak English.

Taking my mom on a cruise on the Jewel ots and am a bit worried about her walking long distances ( she is not ready for a wheelchair ). Does anyone know if there is a shuttle to transport people at the pier should our ship be far back? Thanks for your help!

As you an immunosurpressed, just keep doing what you usually do on land when you are at sea and you'll be fine...has always worked for me ;)

We have sailed from San Juan several times...one cashier told us to just bring everything with us ( we don't drink, the bottles we bought were gifts ), while another time they wrapped the bottles up and shipped them to our ship themselves. Last time the store shelves were pretty empty.

Sailing on the Regal soon and wondering what options, if any, are available for cold drinks using the coffee card? Would like something like a frappuccino or ice cappuccino ( for you Canadian Tim Horton's fans ). Thanks :)
-
there's one for the Caribbean Princess for sale on ebay.

Thanks for posting! I'll be following along...we're on the Regal in January, can't wait!
Have a great cruise!
Miami vs. San Juan departure

We've done several SJU and one Florida departures. Even though San Juan is more expensive and farther, we will stick with it. More ports and a much easier departure port experience.
