  1. We decided to go someplace local for breakfast after disembarking this morning in Port Canaveral. I googled and found a place with 5 star reviews, called the Southern Charm Cafe, so off we went. On the way out of the port parking we took a wrong turn and ended up across Terminal 3 where the Carnival ships dock. Right across is a brand new (being built, almost complete) Holiday Inn....so close that one can walk out of it and board the ship in Terminal 3. Only, it is the Carnival ship and Wonder and her smaller babies dock at Terminal 1. Now, expert walkers/hikers like Mark and Susan and Aussielozzie would easily be able to walk from that HI to Terminal 1, rolling their luggage, but not most people. Just thought I would mention this hotel info. We also drove around before we went to this cafe. Lots of nice hotels: Homewood Suites, Springhill Suites, Townplace Suites seemed to make me nod in approval 😄. And our breakfast cafe was excellent. If you happen to be there, try it out. Lots of locals and some cruisers..They had a line forming and a wait for arrivals after us. I am happy we gave some business to a local cafe.
  2. Sorry about this. Tommy Bahama had a sale in their store last week when I visited. I love their disney themed stuff. 😍
  3. Yes they were SO good. That frosted thingy on top is coconut milk frosted. The server suggested their Pina Coladas. Mine is non alcoholic and very yummy. $15 each. And we shared the food.
  4. Happy belated Birthday wishes for HBE. Lenny and OB, the Sorrento's on this ship is not that great. Not the variety of the Anthem or Wonder's Sorrento's.
  5. Twin Brothers All inspired by your Freedom review! And some youtube videos. New enhancements at the port are very nice too.
  6. For the first time everrrr, when I signed up for voom on board, it gave me a discounted price. Said $$ is cost, your discount coupon is $$. Applied when purchased. I believe it was diamond plus discount "coupon". $44 for 4 days. $11 per day. So it worked out cheaper than buying it on CP, which never went below $17. Now I am wondering if to buy it on board for other cruises. Will have to keep checking.
  7. You too. We had 11.30 boarding. Not doing that boarding time again as a much later time works better for us and less lines, less crowds. So will stick to our 2 pm from now on to avoid the lunch crowds at WJ and the over enthusiastic cruisers 😁. I tried, but not for us. We did BOGO at Chops last night. Tonight Giovanni's and the other 2 nights will be MDR or WJ.
  8. We have done this too and loved it! I would have suggested the Dale Chuily museum and Dali if you had more time. Have a great cruise Sue and Gary And Debbie and Eric!
