Nothing for June, As of January, 2023 Celebrity has engaged in very poor customer relations- making cost increase changes, additional charges like room service, extra MDR costs, reduced menus and sudden re-deployment schedules without prior notification to booked guests. Many who had pre-booked future cruises were now receiving a lesser product than what they originally paid for. Bait and Switch tactics. The re-deployment of the Beyond has caused countless logistical and financial problems for many loyal X cruisers with little or no compensation to affected cruisers. So the elimination of PUP points is in keeping with X new motto - pay more for less- no need for loyalty incentives as ships are sailing full.
  3. Finally got through to Celebrity! Confirmed that my April 21 and 27 will be switched to the Beyond- same type stateroom🤞🤞🤞and original price will be honored plus 100.00 OBC. The good news is I like the ship and the 1st itinerary better than the Reflection and get it at a Solstice price! I love the ABC and that remains unchanged. We will know by July 11! 🤞🤞🤞
  4. After 50+ cruises on 6 different cruise lines(100 days on HAL) I had believed X was my favorite. The up-charges, cut-backs since 1/23 have me looking elsewhere- most recently this Beyond switch, new reduced-upcharge menu being piloted on the Equinox.( may Sept. cruise) I wrote to the Executive Office yesterday!!!!
  5. I have a TA. I have emailed him. I still only have Celebrity notifications for my 4/21/24 Refection and my 11/1/24 Beyond Transatlantic cancellation. My 4/27/24 Reflection is MIA!🥲 I called X at 5:00 AM Pacific time -left call back number- received call back at 6:08 , confirmed It was me , then waited for 30 minutes listening to recording when I gave up. I have requested a 2nd call back-90 minute wait. Probably will not connect again!!! I am beyond frustrated. I’m sure my TA will have to wait on hold just like all other TA’s. I’m particularly concerned with my MIA 8 night 4/27/24 cruise! This does NOT feel like Modern Luxury!
  6. I was booked on Reflection B2B 4/21/24 and 4/27/24. I have received notification of the switch for only 1 cruise- 4/2124. I wonder where the 2nd cruise notification is? And m,in addition? I did receive notification of cancellation of my 11/1/24 Beyond Transatlantic! So much confusion!!! New cabins???? New pricing???? Add to this chaos - the piloting of X’s new, sparser, upcharged items on new menu on my 9/16 Equinox sailing, A poster just wrote that Tilapia was an entree on 3 nights of his current 8 night Equinox sailing!!!! What is going on with Celebrity? Modern Luxury no more!!!!
  7. My 8 night Equinox cruise does not show included lobster on any night- usually the 2nd chic night.🥲
  8. I just finished my letter to the Executive Office. What an insult to think an up charge/ cutback pilot would be welcomed by loyal Celebrity cruisers The fact that only 2 cruises are affected means that w e are not getting the product we booked nor the product that other ship cruisers are getting. Who manages an organization so unfairly and recklessly??? B
  9. My Sept 16 Equinox sailing shows the new menu!!! To whom do I write to complain! 2nd time this year -Bait and Switch- I booked Apex TA when room service was included and Ocean View had more options. I booked Equinox last December when lobster and room service were included. I just looked at the menu for my cruise and the UPCHARGES are there! So very disappointing!! We must let our voices be heard! No longer -Modern Luxury!
  10. I, also, will now will be looking elsewhere for the dining options that were standard for decades. The earlier cutbacks were upsetting- charging for room service a second lobster tail etc, Now Celebrity is piling on the cutbacks and additional charges. I’ve cruised 5 times post pandemic, 4 on Celebrity snd 1 on the Enchanted Princess. The Enchanted was beautiful, great entertainment, dance bands, good food and service. I will definitely be following other cruise lines more closely now, I have 3 future Celebrity cruises booked- will definitely reconsider now.

  12. My experience the French Onion Soup and Shrimp Cocktail are ordered from the MDR menu. I have never seen it on the Blu menu. I you are not a fan of PG - then you could eat many evenings in specialty dining for the price of Aqua. When in Blu we often order from both menus.
  13. I’ll never make Zenith. 53 cruises on 6 different cruise lines ! Celebrity is my fav st the moment but glad I have experienced other cruise lines. They all have something good to offer. Royal- great for families, Princess - beautiful vibrant Piazzas, HAL -Half Moon Cay… I just love cruising!!!!! Smooth seas and happy cruising to all!🚢
  14. Also I love the fact that Royal has reciprocity between Royal Caribbean Cruise ships and Celebrity- making it easy to book Royal with children - best family experience!
  15. I vote for keeping the Solarium kid free!!! I noticed people bringing youngsters there on the Silhouette outside of family hours.
  16. True - but most teens are social. Without a doubt there will be many more young people on RCL in addition to all the activity options for young people- rock climbing, slides, wave runners etc. I gifted a Princess September med cruise to my daughter and her fiancée when she graduated from vet school. There were only a handful of people close to her age on board. Yes, it depends on the youngster- but most options will be available on RCL. Either way - a wonderful gift for a young relative.

  18. You can have all of that at home. I love good food, drink snd friends but the beautiful ambience can enhance your experience of being out of the ordinary, daily environment. Just - a nice touch.
  19. The fact that Prime Rib, Beef Wellington, better cuts of beef, a second tiny lobster tail have disappeared from the MDR menu. Entree selections are reduced, charge for room service- I would agree that Celebrity is no longer a premium cruise line. All of this was revealed to many of us after Jan 1 as a surprise -long after we had booked future cruises. So many of us had booked one product and will receive a lesser one. To me that is a typical bait and switch, snd not the respectful treatment of their guests I would expect from Celebrity. Making excuses for Celebrity due to Covid losses doesn’t excuse them from notifying their guests and especially their pre booked guests of the unexpected changes. Celebrity can do better.

  21. In addition the Koningsdam had beautiful, musical instrument shaped flower arrangements in public spaces- an elegant touch not seen on Celebrity or Princess. (Where have all the ice sculptures gone?) 🙂
  22. Time to cruise with Princess again. Last cruise-Prime Rib and Beef Wellington still- on menu but no pillow chocolates! Also only one drink package and refundable deposits.
  23. What happened to January opportunity to earn PUPS???????? Celebrity surprise cutbacks, escalating prices and sudden elimination of PUP are a painful way to start the New Year!!!!
