Thank you, Jim ! We are on the same cruise as you! We are looking forward to their unique jogging track but will have to take it indoors when the weather doesn’t cooperate. . We often cruise S class ships. This is our first TA and our first Edge class. I’ve followed many of your posts and love the info you provide as a very“well traveled” cruiser. Thank you again!

We are wondering what to expect weather wise during the crossing? Would love yo hear from experienced east bound TA cruisers. We are headed to Northern Europe at the end of April. Will it be possible to walk the track under normal circumstances? (No storms) Thank you. My husband likes to walk 5 miles/day. Happy cruising!

This”deal” has been offered fir months! Sadly the cruise prices continue to increase at a rapid pace. So this seems like a “deal-no deal!” So disappointed in 2023 Celebrity unexpected cutbacks amid escalating prices!

Hate all the cutbacks, new chages, escalating prices!

I don’t recall Cekebrity ever offering “kids sail free. “ Royal dies often but the price reduction promos are somewhat suspect as each new promo often ends up with the same fare or higher. One has to be vigilant and check prices often to get a better price.

Just another cutback as they seem to be rolling out one after another without notification. No prime rib, charge for extra lobster tail, reduced MDR menu and OV cafe dinner offerings, charge for room service, fewer bathroom products, no tote bags, no “welcome aboard” champagne. The product I booked last year has been reduced considerably and not the same as what I booked. All this amid escalating cruise fare prices. A 6 night 2924 cruise I was looking at in late Nov increased owner $1,000.00 in less than a month. What is next!

For one when I have been in Aqua - French Onion Soup and other popular items have not been on the Blu Menu. Also Blu also has a more”exotic” menu that does not always appeal to me. The ability to enjoy the beautiful Blu ambience with expanded menu options was valued by me.

With more than 50 cruises on 6 different cruise lines Celebrity had become my favorite! As cruising resumed we have experienced cutbacks on Celebrity and other cruise lines. On Celebrity - no welcome aboard champagne, no cabin tote bags, reduced MDR menu, smaller portions, most recently 9.95 + gratuities charge for room service, reduced classics’ menu, discontinuing of Blu option to order from full MDR menu, elimination of canapés for Aqua guests, charge for second lobster, reduced dinner offerings in Ocean View cafe, minimal bathroom products. Add to that rapidly escalating prices- a$1,000.00increase in 1 month for a 6 day 2024 cruise we were planning to book after Thanksgiving and tried to book after Christmas! None of the cutbacks alone is any big deal but the TREND is!!!! Most importantly the manner in which these changes are being rolled out feels like an ambush to me. No prior notification We have 3 future cruises booked. What Celebrity is delivering is NOT the product we purchased. We are not being treated as valued, loyal guests. I’m sure if I read the contract there will be clauses that justify their changes and charges. That is not the point. I always felt Celebrity was classy, a step above Princess and HAL. Modern luxury is on its way out as Celebrity joins the nickel and dime cruise lines. What is next? Read the boards - your main source of info.

Gimmick as always! My TA failed to complete a booking I had made just after Thanksgiving for a 6 day 2024 Bimini cruise. When I questioned him last week the price had risen 800.00 in a matter of two weeks. His fault but that significant an increase for a distant cruise was a first for me. I have cruises booked through 2023. Hopefully I can find some reasonable sailings for 2024. I always check and recheck pricing snd promos on already booked cruises. The pricing- promo game is very frustrating.

I believe the Equinox time frame for refurb was cut short because the ship was moved to Europe for refurb. Deck 7 cabins are sadly not refurbed. We have been on Equinox 3 times since restart! I sure hope they complete the cabin refurbs soon!

When I booked my 3 future cruises there was no charge for room service. Now I just checked my April transatlantic and there it is! So very disappointed in this new “cut back”. I hardly use room service but love it when I need it. Already miss the “Welcome Aboard” champagne, tote bags, amid escalating prices!!!! My TA failed to complete my 2024 6 day Bimini cruise just after Thanksgiving! Now the price has increased $800.00. My TA’s fault - but Celebrity raising prices that much in a matter of weeks for a 2024 cruise shocked me!!!! Over 50 cruises on 6 different cruise lines and I am saddened to see these changes. What is next?

Those cruises have always been fewer than usual 7 day Mexican Riviera- don’t know why because we love La Paz and Loreto, There is one on 7/29/23 - Emerald that we have booked. Also - our all time favorite cruise Princess 10 day Tahiti snd French Polynesia has been discontinued with the elimination of their smaller ships . We did that cruise in 2012 and waited a long time for that itinerary to reappear. Finally there it was in 2020- booked for October, 2020 / then came Covid! I doubt that Princess will ever offer that 10 day itinerary agsin! We had done the same itinerary in 2007 on the Paul Gaugin - too expensive and too small of ship for me.

You will not be disappointed! We alternate between Princess, HAL, Celebrity and Royal (with grandkids) Celebrity Solstice class ships are by far my favorites. If you snorkel be sure to book an excursion with Woodwind- very best snorkeling experience in the Caribbean- 10 minute walking distance to their catamaran from pier. They can help anyone learn to snorkel! They fill up fast so book asap- no charge til after the excursion!

Look further into the future- No ABC’s Only Celebrity ships have several ABC itineraries in 2024. We’ve been to the ABC’s on Enchanted, Emerald, Equinox, Silhouette, Eclipse,, Noordan, Konigsdam-all fairly big ships. Princess has had one of best Southern Caribbean itineraries-7- 8 ports- the most of any cruise line in a 10 day cruise. 🤞🤞Princess will re-instate the ABC’s.

We cruise to the ABC islands once or twice/year on Princess, Celebrity or HAL, most recently in November on the Enchanted- wonderful 10 day itinerary. Sadly it seems that Princess- after many, many years of offering that same itinerary has abandoned it for 2024, maybe 2023 ( booked on Celebrity for 2023) I also noticed that HAL has only 1 9 day itinerary that includes Bonaire for 2024. Does anyone know why the ABC Island itinerary has been scrapped? Princess - please offer the ABC 10 day itinerary!!!!!!!

I have loved Celebrity but aside from price differences Princess and HAL have the best itineraries in Alaska. They have the most permits into Glacier Bay. Cekebrity has none! Don’t give up on a great itinerary for the few PUPs points X us now “selling “to you.
