We've been on the Royal 3 times over the years and get a balcony/deluxe balcony on Riviera all the way aft. We typically stay all the way aft as we don't like all of the foot traffic mid-ships (just our personal preference). Always staterooms above and below. We've done a total of 6 cruises on the Royal class and have enjoyed it and look forward to the Enchanted in December!

We did as well in May while in Aruba.

Thanks for this, but I am not the slightest bit confident that I can do anything with a video test at all, especially from a hotel. We'd be much more comfortable getting tested somewhere where they know what they're doing, unlike me.
We were able to do it easily from a condo in Aruba back in May. Can't imagine that you can't do the same from a hotel in Canada...

Not good. Bad form there and they should have done the priority boarding. I'd be fuming mad if I expected to get on and get Sanctuary.
Was a bit miffed. Mid-day, full sun, toasty warm. Not to mention the "stink-eye" that I was getting from the other pax at the front of the co-mingled line as I walked forward to check things out....

We've been to Halifax several times and have enjoyed driving around the area to Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg and driving along the waterfront areas. The last time we also went to the Citadel and enjoyed touring it.

It's varied in FLL. I've had situations where the previous cruise was late in getting departing passengers off of the ship and they did not recognize Elite/Platinum but had everyone line up as they arrived. I did go to the head of the line to ask but was rebuffed and sent to the end of the line.🥴

Been on and off the website multiple times in the last two days with no issue. Maybe clear out your cache; reboot and try again. Can't imagine what the problem could be..

Never heard of that one. Have 17 cruises with them and that never happened to us. I also check my statement before getting off the ship so I can address it "on site". I would put it in dispute if the charges have indeed been processed (twice)...

Well we will be going on our first Elite cruise soon. When we were Platinum we never had any invites in our room. In fact I didn’t even know there was such a thing until I read about it in here about a month or so ago. They used to do that and don't remember if they do now or not. Last cruise was at Thanksgiving and did find it ~ maybe we got an invite but elite by now.

Enjoy. We did a two week safari and I bought travel guides to find the right company and tips and what to wear. Definitely neutral colors of the land ~ muted browns and greens ~ and a hat to keep the sun off of your face. Plenty of bug spray! We spent a week each in Kenya and Tanzania in June and the advice to stay away from black/blue colors had to do with not attracting tsetse flies. We were in our own private 4 x 4 with driver and guide and couldn't have asked for a better time.

We just successfully signed up with CVS for our 2nd booster. 1st one was in September.

If you are lucky enough to arrange flightseeing with Michelle at Island Wings; count you blessings! She is incredible. Went flightseeing with her on our 1st Alaskan cruise and loved every minute!

We've only been to Victoria as part of a personal land tour that we did years ago. The orca watching was fantastic (went with a company in town); walked town and went into most of the old historic buildings and went up to Buchart (sp?) Gardens which may be a bit too tame for you. Victoria is simply beautiful.
Enjoy your cruise. When you go back; make it a land trip and visit the Kenai Peninsula and spend a fair amount of time in Denali.

With the snorkeling, do you launch from off a boat or do they go to a beach? My wife hates launches off a boat. Love the Curacao idea!! Thanks.
We spent a week in Bonaire at a dive resort and did multiple walk-in dives with no problem. I have no clue where the cruise ship docks or anchors but you should be able to research for walk-in diving and find a place. There diving there is amazing!

Have parked in the garage across the street from the terminal with no problem. Happy cruising.

We have used our local CVS with no problem, however, with the huge spike in cases here there are now new testing facilities being added. I doubt that you have to be a resident as this state survives on tourism. Tampa is in Hillsborough County so check what's listed there. BTW, we used CVS 3 times in the past month and you had to get online the day before to make your appointment. Good luck.

Spring break here is earlier than in other areas of the country as our kids start their school year earlier and end earlier. Mostly; stay away from the holiday period and go during the week when the parks are less crowded.

DH was charged for a drink that wasn't his and was quickly reversed by CS rep. I do keep an eye on our account to avoid issues at the end.

There is a CVS right at the port where you may be able to schedule a test. They have given us results in less than an hour several times in the last month. Good luck!

Did they let her stay there?
Sure did. It was probably easier for them and there were certainly plenty of open tables...

Just off the Regal this past Monday on a 5 night cruise to Mexico from FLL. DMW worked as expected & had no issue getting a 2 top in Concerto. There were only 1300 pax on a ship w/3600+ capacity and was a bit miffed that we were always shuttled to the inside area (referred to as the "Dance Floor") as the entire "outer rim" was being used for suite and CC mini-suite guests. The area was always only 1/2 full. As an elite in a deluxe balcony I was more than a little put-out. I saw one couple refuse to be seated in the cattle-class section and the woman simply sashayed her way to a window table and sat down. BTW, there were only 130 elites on board...most were new cruisers.
How is the bidding system doing? Any comments?
