Would be fine. The crew come back from ports loaded in food containers.

Can't wait to see what happens; we had a GREAT cabin. Fingers crossed they figure this out.
Check out HAL. They have some fantastic Transpacifics.

For our Oct 16 '25 37N Grand sailing (Sth Pac, Hawaii, French Polynesia) that has been cancelled, they are offering a switch to 28N Crown sailing (Round Oz) 23 Nov '25 with $250pp OBC. Unfortunately, the 2 offerings are very different & the new date, which is after we would have returned from original itinerary, doesn't work for us ☹️ And we had $400 pp OBC on original cruise.
Looking at options but very disappointed to miss our 'dream' cruise.
If you’re ok with flying have a look at HAL Noordam Sydney to Seattle in a March 26 is an awesome itinerary. She also has a nice itinerary in January which I think is round trip Sydney.

I think the New Zealand situation has really screwed us in Australia. I know thats the reason Cunard pulled out of the region completely (I was told that by the Captain of the Queen Elizabeth). Its no surprise to me to see other Carnival owned lines also reducing their presence here. Theres also been issues with some of the pacific islands closing themselves to cruise ships. I doubt its anything to do with demand, the Australian cruise industry is one of the fastest growing in the world and all the ships are sailing at capacity. I think its more to do with the lack of cruise itineraries in this part of the world.
What’s happening with NZ?

So what's happening with the Crown? That ship is apparently being pulled from Australia cruises after December 2025, folks got notices yesterday about the "redeployment". Right now the Discovery is the only ship that is cruising Australia in January and February 2026 until the Crown reappears on the schedule in late March 2026. Will be interesting to see what Princess ultimately announces.
I don’t believe crown is being pulled I just think they’re switching dates, itineraries. Crown. Is doing the WC out of Sydney.

Bulkhead with a wall in front of you? So you cannot stretch your legs out?
The wall was a good 2 - 3 feet in front of me. Stretched out fully I could put my foot on the wall. On Air Canada Dreamliner we had about the same leg room if not more than Premium economy.

Is it just the cruises out of Auckland that's cancelled, or to other NZ ports also?
These were the voyage numbers that were cancelled on Discovery
Voyages X602A, X602B, X603A, X604A & X605A
it seemed to be the shorter versions of the NZ cruises that were cancelled. The original release is on the main Princess board and can be found with a quick search. That has the voyage numbers listed.

Strange. I can't think why they would do that.
Charge more for the full voyage vs a pretty good rate on only Auckland to Sydney. Who knows what the bean counters at Princess are thinking these days.

My March 2026 Discovery cruise is intact - for now.
What it looks like they’ve done is removed all the embarkation in Auckland options for the NZ cruises. My Southern Australia is still intact but is useless to me without the preceding NZ cruise.

Well I just had my Discovery Princess NZ cancelled for Feb 2026 so they’re switching things around 🤨

There goes the round trip Hawaii and Tahiti cruise.
Sorry for all the passengers booked out of Sydney and Brisbane on her.
That was a fantastic itinerary.

Yes, this is a known issue on the main Princess board. Annoying to say the least. Lots of complaints about.

We’ve done Vancouver to Sydney/Brisbane three times in Economy. We have always booked the bulkhead for extra leg room. Not sure I could get DH to do it in any other economy seat. Helps a lot that no one recline into you.

As Grand is doing Alaska prior to these cruises there could be a nice Panama Canal repositioning cruise.

Ugh. We dodged that bullet. We were booked on the 36 dayer in October but switched to HAL. Never good to have your cruises cancelled.

On a serious note, I grew up in Honolulu and am shocked by the actions of the captain of the Celebrity Edge encroaching on the pristine waters off the Na Pali cliffs. This is exactly the kind of idiotic behavior by tourists showing a total disregard for the land and sea of the Hawaiian Islands that gives all tourists, and cruisers in particular, a bad name. If the Celebrity Edge lost power or had suffered some other kind of technical glitch, they would have had no room for error or recovery. Respect the land and the beauty of the islands. I think a ban on Celebrity cruising to Kaua'i for a year would be appropriate.
Wouldn’t hurt them. They don’t ever stop on Kauai. This was strictly a sail by to fill the day left open by Lahaina. Now a ban from the Hawaiian islands would screw up their repositioning plans. So disappointed in Celebrity for this stunt.

Just FYI - not sure what you are planning on buying in Barcelona but other than two bottles of wine on embarkation day they will take anything else you bring on board from a port.
Barcelona has a duty free store after checkin. All recent reports say there is no second check. It’s been that way for years in Barcelona.

Pretty pricey. We’ve pieced together half a world cruise with similar perks and it’s wayyyyyy less per day. Nice that it’s on Coral.

There are many posts quoting 35% off drink pkg. which isn't showing on our cruise. Classic $93 Canadian x 10 nights plus grats is a little rich for light drinkers. I keep watching to see if it'll come down but so far...not. When is your cruise? It may depend on how the sales are going for each one. We've always purchased the pkg, but this time we're thinking of paying our bar bill in US $ even though the chit signing is a nuisance.
I think my 35% off offer ended yesterday. We got a good deal on 2 martini flights though so that gives us two nights at the martini bar. Cruise is in November.
-
I am not prepared to pay $1,500 US (add 37% for Canadians) just for drinks. Which is what the current 35% off comes to for a 10 day cruise. 50% or no drink package. I’m happy to stock up at Barcelona duty free.

We’re booked on the 8 day. Wow, I had no idea it would be that popular. There are three versions of that cruise though. It might be that more cabins are available for the full portion and not the smaller one. Keep your eyes out for more inventory.
edit…just checked the 14 day version, there’s tons of availability for 3.

When is your cruise? It may be due to how close the cruise is. Ours is in Nov. I check often and no discount other than the 20% which is always showing for Elite +.....and I'm not sure that it shows only for me and not for everyone else....Elite + or not.
Ours is November. I currently have the 35% offer.
